Situated just a few steps away from the Fifth/Sixth Street Entrance, this beach house offers easy access to the beautiful sandy shores. While there is a short walk down a path before reaching the beach, the anticipation only adds to the excitement of your beach getaway.

THE SPACE
Main level: Queen Bedroom and King Bedroom (Sunroom and TV) with adjoining Jack-n-Jill Bath (single sink, toilet and shower)

Note this is a classic beach house, its not updated. Its a great value for a beach house in this location, but you will find it needs some updates. Don't let that get in the way of enjoying this East Beach gem!

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surchages attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

The house was great for our family get together with adults and children. The beach was a close by. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to cook and feed our entire family. The back porch was a great place to hangout and chat with a cocktail while the sun set.

Chilling at the Cottage

What an awesome place to meet with longtime friends. The cottage was so cute and nicely decorated with plenty of room for everyone. It is walking distance to the Homefront Museum and The Prince and King resort. Lots of restaurants were also nearby. We highly recommend it!

This was a little slice of Heaven right by the beach access. It was the perfect amount of rooms for our family with a whole upper floor that was perfect for the kids. We loved the cozy house that had great bedroom arrangement with bathrooms close by. The front and back porches were very enjoyable and well furnished. The internet was a little slow but understandable with so many using it. The only down side of the house was the kitchen having water bugs and some of the pans and dishes were put away dirty. We had a very comfortable stay and would stay there again for our family reunion.

We came for our first family vacation in years. It was a blast! The provided beach chairs and wagon were helpful. The house was everything that was promised. We grilled and cooked a ton at the house and had everything we needed to make and enjoy great meals. Fantastic coffee pot too! The beach was a short walk (we rented tents and chairs from a local company and that was clutch, highly suggest). Kids had a blast chasing lizards all over the yard and porches. We loved coffee and cocktails on the back porch every day. Beds were cozy, linens were clean. Anytime we needed anything the rental company was incredibly responsive.

The house was charming inside and out!! The sleeping accommodations were extremely comfortable for the 11 of us! The entire house was very clean and there was plenty of room for dining and lounging both. The kitchen was great for cooking and had everything we needed to make all of our meals. The beach is a short walk, but right off the backyard – very convenient and safe beach access. Ryan/Alex were very responsive and helpful! We would stay here again!

The home was spacious, yet cozy. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The home was well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, blankets, towels, etc. This was our first trip to SSI and I did not realize that golf carts are rideable almost everywhere. My son in law rented one and it came in very handy and made the trip even more fun. The walk to the beach was not bad as long as it was not the hottest part of the day. However , the golf cart made it a breeze!

Comfortable house for 10 people

This house was perfect for our family. The grandkids had their own space upstairs and there were enough bedrooms for the rest of us. Plenty of space and great arrangement. Enough bathrooms and plenty of towels. A very comfortable house! The kitchen was well equipped for 10 people - large pans and lots of cooking tools. The table was large enough to accommodate all 10 of us. The location was great. Short walk to beach. We really appreciated the outside shower so we didn't track sand into the house. The beach cart was very handy. The arrival and departure instructions were excellent. We'd love to return next year!

Great spacious & comfortable beach cottage, great for family & friends! Easy 5 minute walk down to the beach. Quick drive to shops and restaurants. House has plenty of books to grab for a quick read. If you are into playing games or puzzles in the evening, sadly doesn't have any, so bring your own. Would definitely go back! Thanks!!!

Family Christmas Vacation

We had a nice family Christmas vacation in St Simons. The home was good for our group with inside and outside space to spread out. The weather was cold and the property manager was kind to bring more blankets at our request. The house was probably a quarter mile walk down a path to the beach. We would stay here again.
