DESCRIPTION:For the first time in the park’s history\, visitors can now purchase tickets online and at a reduced price and advanced ticket purchase is strongly encouraged. This benefit to guests will minimize time spent in line and limit capacity within the park to further accommodate social distancing practices. Visitors can enjoy the water park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily\, through August 11\, and to provide the community a full season of fun\, the water park will also be extending this year’s operations to include all weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) in September. Annual Pass holders will also have the added benefit of two seasons for the price of one. Those who purchase a pass for the 2020 season will automatically receive access through the end of the 2021 season as a thank you! Passes\, as well as advanced daily ticket purchases\, can be made online at www.summerwaves.com. This event showcases our community’s hospitality at its best as all of the organizers\, volunteers\, porch hosts\, performers\, and bands generously donate their time and work together to make this neighborhood music celebration a reality. \n\n \n\nBrunswick PorchFest will start at noon on Sunday\, November 14th\, 2021. We invite you to stroll through our neighborhood and enjoy the variety of performers on different porches each hour until our finale band plays at 5pm. SUMMARY:Hofwyl-Broadfield 41st Annual Christmas Tour
DESCRIPTION:Visitors will walk through centuries old live oaks and be treated to a guided tour of the 1850’s plantation home\, specially decorated for Christmas. Several period dressed interpreters will share stories of the plantations past. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. \nHistory buffs will enjoy Company A\, 26th Georgia Volunteer Infantry and other units as they re-enact a pre-Civil War muster of the Glynn County Guards and Brunswick Rifles militia units. You will have the opportunity to see cannon and musket firings as well as demonstrations of camp life. \nAfter touring the house enjoy hot wassail (a spiced Christmas punch) prepared over an open fire in an authentic cast iron pot. \n$8 for adults\, $5 for youth (6-17)\, children 5 and under are free. \nThis program requires pre-registration\, as space will be limited\, and social distancing will be required. There will be hourly tours beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation State Historic Site\, 5556 US Highway 17N.\, Brunswick. Located at intersection of US17 and GA99\, one mile east of I-95 exit 42.
