Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

We enjoyed a lovely week at the cottage and especially appreciated the proximity to East Beach. The neighborhood is peaceful and the surrounding streets walkable. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed and my mother enjoyed spending time on the screened porch. A lovely getaway with easy beach access that is away from the condos at the other end of the Island. We’d happily return.

The stay exceeded my expectations. Absolutely cozy & spotless clean. I would stay here again, it was perfect. The tiniest con which I’m sure is out of the owners control is that we happened to stay on the coldest weekend ever in Georgia & the heater would not reach a warm temp but I’m sure its cause the heater rarely gets used. Other than that, i absolutely enjoyed my time here. Super family friendly.

This is a nice home in walking distance to the beach. We liked the private outdoor areas and spent a lot of time on the front porch. My family enjoyed our time here.

Loved the location, peaceful and quiet. Tons of restaurants and we biked all over the island easily via the bike paths. The bungalow was so cozy, beds comfy and kitchen was fully equipped. Would definitely stay here again on our return visit. Made our first trip to St Simon so memorable.
