THE SPACE
Your entry will be on the second level with a covered porch. There is plenty of space on the porch to sit back and relax with your morning coffee or afternoon wine. Upon entry, there is a comfortable dining area open to a separate TV room with comfy sofas and Smart TV. Down the hall is a cozy bathroom with shower. The guest bedroom in the back of the home has a queen size bedroom, bathroom with shower and closet, and Smart TV. The kitchen is in the back of the home and is fully equipped everything you need. The spiral staircase leads you up to the third level master suite with a king size bed, Smart TV, and access to covered balcony. The master bathroom features a jetted corner tub, separate shower and sink. There is a walk-in closet with a washer/dryer for your use. Note you are renting the 2nd and 3rd floors. The first floor is another unit, occupied by a long-term resident that you might see coming and going.
Whether a romantic getaway or a family gathering, 1107 Ocean Blvd is an excellent choice. Occupancy is a max of 4-5.
Home is located on the south end of the Island, close to the St. Simons' Pier Village district which serves as a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its oceanside pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.
After dinner, a popular activity is a sunset walk on the beach or strolling through the village, browsing through the boutique shops and eating ice cream. There are a number of local bakeries and sweet shops in the Pier Village that will tempt your taste buds.
Dolphins can be spotted playing in the ocean during the warmer months and Whale watching season is December thru March.
Guest Access:
Guest will have access to the top two floors of the home. Parking is conveniently located at the front of the home for 2-cars max.
We are pet friendly, but you must get management approval before bringing your pet and a fee applies. As part of the pet approval, pets shall never be left alone or unattended.

We're located mid-beach - halfway between the St Simons Pier Village and East Beach. This stretch of beach is not tide dependent and has plenty of walking distance in both directions. We're walking distance to local restaurant favorites like Crab Daddy's, Barrier Island Brewing, Fiddlers, and Porch.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

We could not have ask for a more perfect place to stay! The cottage was full of charm and thoughtfulness. There was not one thing that we needed. My husband was there to work his new business and I worked in the cottage. Since I was with out a vehicle the location was perfect! I walked, or rode my rental bike to the beach and village. My hope is every time I tag along with him we can stay in this true “ home away from home”!

Everything was clean, cozy, and easy going! We especially loved the log book of other guests’ stay for personal recommendations on food and activities. The quick walk to the beach with provided towels/chairs was perfection as well as the outdoor hose attachments for rinsing off to keep the house clean. All around excellent week. Thank you!

We stayed for six weeks and never tired of the house or island. The house was clean, comfortable and extremely well furnished. Everything you could want to enjoy cooking, relaxing and exploring. One short block to the beach! We picked this house after staying in the area last year and considering style, location and amenities. Good for us!?? Fabulous choice!! Within easy walking distance to a multitude of restaurants and shops. Great seafood restaurants and fun bars. Easy drive to Jekyll Island( historical tours, Driftwood Beach and Dolphin tour boat) and Brunswick (historic downtown shops, tasty Indigo Shanty eatery and a modern shopping center). We can unequivocally recommend this house! And, we thoroughly enjoyed the people who live on the main level. They were gracious, helpful and respectful of our privacy.
Perfect Beach Getaway!

The property is a breath of fresh air. It is bright, beachy, open, and has lots of room. It is homey, clean and all of the furniture and decorations are nice. The upstairs area is huge. The upstairs bed is a king and is very comfortable with lots of pillows. The upstairs bathroom area has a very nice tile shower, toilet area, and then a large jacuzzi tub. There are two separate vanity areas. The robes were a nice touch. The kitchen had everything I needed. The refrigerator had an ice maker and the coffee maker is a Keurig. Wifi and TVs worked well. There are three beach accesses within walking distance from the house-no more than a block away, or you can drive and park at two of the locations. You can also walk to several restaurants. I think knowing what beach supplies would be available would have been helpful. There were some beach towels upstairs and two beach chairs outside, but I wasn't sure if I could use them. I flew in from out of state so having access to a beach cooler and maybe a beach umbrella would have been nice. Overall, it was a perfect vacation and I look forward to staying there again.

Great spot for a 4th of July getaway!

We really lucked out finding this little gem for the entire week of July 4th. It was 2 blocks from the beach, allowed our pups, and was perfectly located close to restaurants, groceries and entertainment. We were able to walk to the pier for the fireworks, grab some food and a drink and then head straight to the beach! The place was clean, well stocked and equipped. Plus, my parents (who are a bit difficult to please) absolutely loved the place...big thank you for making my weekend truly stress free! Highly recommend and would definitely come back and stay here again.

We loved our stay here. This was our first time visiting St Simons Island and we loved it. The location is perfect- easy walk to beach and restaurants and shops less than a 5 minute walk. The house is so cute and was perfect for my boyfriend and I and our dog. Caleb met us on the first day and was very friendly and gave us suggestions for dining, biking etc. Would definitely come back!

Ocean Blvd stay

Cast a waves is a awesome St Simon's vacation house. Just a short walk to the Ocean. The owners have everything you need right down to sand castle making tools and beach chairs. Also a short walk to Restaurants. Maybe a mile to the lighthouse and Village shops. Place has a great vibe.

This was one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed at. Not only was it furnished with everything you could need, it was only a block from the beach. We will definitely make sure we stay at this property on our next visit.
Vacation turned into home

This was the perfect house in every way! It was fully stocked with everything imaginable, quite cozy, tastefully and beautifully decorated, in a great location with beach access just a short walk from the house as well as access to many dining options and very relaxing. If youre looking to stay in and cook, the kitchen is fully stocked and quite nice to prepare meals. If youd like to go out to eat, you will be pleasantly surprised by all the options nearby. I highly recommend Beachcombers and Half Shell for lunch and dinner and Sandcastles for breakfast. Everyone I crossed paths with while in SSI, was so pleasant, warm and welcoming, from locals to visitors to the staff at various stores and restaurants. I simply cannot say enough about how wonderful this home is. The upstairs master bedroom was absolutely wonderful, with a very comfortable king size bed, private balcony (where you can watch the sun rise while enjoying your morning cup of coffee or tea) and soaking tub. A full washer/dryer is also on this level. The second bedroom is on the main level with its own full bathroom and is quite cozy as well. In total, there are three full bathrooms. The living room was comfortable and included a closet filled with extra items, ranging from board games, cooking spices, various cooking appliances, a TV as well as a view facing the ocean and a dining area which leads out to the main level balcony. While home, this is where I spent most of my time. This home was so wonderful that I decided to stay a few extra days, which was accommodated with ease and efficiency. If it were available longer, I wouldve stayed here my entire time I was in SSI (9 nights total, originally 3 were booked). Im planning to return to this property in the very near future and simply cannot wait to share it with friends! St. Simons Island is quite a beautiful place, and I quickly knew I was home. This house as well as the owners and property management company were so welcoming and accommodating. This is a place I would highly recommend to friends and family. While staying here, a local out walking her dogs commented, Youre staying in a very nice place. I quickly agreed with her. If youre looking for a a relaxing home away from home that is beautifully and tastefully decorated, in a great location with easy booking and great communication from property management company, your search stops here; this is definitely your place!
Great Family Getaway

We spent a few days here relaxing and reconnecting with my husband who had been deployed. The kids loved being so close to the beach, even our 2 year old had an easy walk. The house was light and bright and the rooms were comfortable. It would have been nice to have a few more dishes to work with for a family of four, but the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools. We walked to restaurants and were just a short drive from the grocery store and other attractions. We'd love to come back!

We loved this house! It is honestly one of the few places we've stayed in that I would actually like to live in full time. It's a great space and the kitchen was easily the best stocked we've ever experienced. The location is ideal and the decks are a dream. The tenants downstairs are incredibly helpful and seen non-existent so there is only upside to having them on the property. Basically, I don't have a single negative thing to say about this amazing property. Definitely take advantage if it's available.
Retirement celebration

Two weeks of rain COULD have dampened the visit BUT it did not. We walked 4 to 14 miles daily. We enjoyed the neighborhood, The village and the beach between raindrops. Loved Palm Coast for breakfast, Barrier Brewery for lunch and Georgia Sea Grill for dinner, just to name a few. Day trips to Jekyl and Savannah. Bike ride to Fort Frederica, The WWll Museum and the lighthouse. When we were home, it was just right: clean, bright, comfortable and well appointed not to mention perfect hosts.

The cleanliness of the home plus the central location made for the perfect vacation spot for the two of us plus our 1 year old Labrador retriever. We loved enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch and being able to walk to everything- from the beach to the best local restaurants. Highly recommend!!

Lots of windows to let the sun in, nicely decorated, and very clean. Lovely, large main bedroom suite upstairs. We enjoyed the 2nd floor deck for breakfast and cocktails. Lots of stairs (including a whimsical spiral stair to the main bedroom) so wouldn't work well for small kids or those with mobility challenges. Kitchen was well appointed and clean.

This property has high quality everything...from the decor, comfort of mattresses to ALL kitchen appliances, silverware, dinnerware, etc. Owners are very nice and accommodating and friendly. My only advice is bring Teflon skillet...as the stainless steel in the Calphalon is very hard to wash.

Awesome little place in SSI

Clean, quiet, and great location a short walk from Myrtle Beach and local restaurants. Thoughtfully decorated, cozy beds, and the balconies were our favorite part. Dog-friendly was a huge plus. Only suggestion is if you have small children or elderly, the unit is on the 2nd floor requiring about 12 steps up. And the spiral staircase to the Master is a bit steep. However, that wasn't a problem for us and you can avoid the spiral stairs by using the downstairs bedroom (Queen-sized). Overall we highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the house. The beds were comfy, the place is super clean. The stairs at the entry are a little steep, so if you have a hard time going up and down, that could be an issue. However no problems here. The spiral staircase leading to the master was super cute. Location was great as well. 2 blocks to the beach and a close enough to walk to the pier if you wanted.

I cant say enough good things about this little gem of a cottage! My 85 years young mother and I stayed for the week and it was perfect. Clean and comfortable! We cooked breakfast each morning and enjoyed our coffee on the porch. We ate dinner out and the cottage was convenient to delicious restaurants and shopping. Short walk to the beach and lovely neighborhood to explore. Would love to make it an annual trip.

We had a wonderful stay in St. Simon. We brought our 2 golden retrievers. The property was well set up for dogs. It was very clean and perfect for us. It is close to the beach, the pier, restaurants and shops. The owners were very helpful in assisting us in getting around. It was cold for most of the week, but we were able to find plenty to keep up busy. We will definitely be back at some point.

Beautiful house close to the beach and close to great restaurants in the village of St. Simons. Super comfortable beds and a great kitchen with everything you may need whether you decide to cook or just enjoy takeout. Great home away from home for both you and your doggie. Be sure to take doggie down to the beach during low tide and let that doggie run run run.
