THE SPACE
Everyone seems to gather in the kitchen, as it is large and spacious with all the kitchen essentials you need for dining in. The master bedroom is on the main level and offers an en suite combination tub/shower and a walk in closet.
Upstairs layout has 3 bedrooms, including:
* To the left, 2 twin beds
* bedroom 3 has a queen bed
* bedroom 4 also has a queen bed
Gas grill and charcoal grill available for your use.
Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

We absolutely love being able to have the whole family together for a few days each year (kids, patents, and grandparents). Having a house this close to the pier lets everyone have their own space and is close enough that the grandparents can easily get out to walk to shops and restaurants.

Cozy beach getaway

I stayed here for a family trip with my mom, siblings and their spouses. The location is great, the accommodations are as pictured, and the house is fully stocked with essentials. All you need to bring is yourselves, and groceries if you plan to do any cooking. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs are steep and a bit tricky at the top. So if you have people with mobility issues in your group, be aware that there is only one bedroom on the ground floor. Also know that the three upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom, and two of the bedrooms share a walk through closet. It was workable for my family but others may have different preferences about that. Overall, it was very comfortable and we had a lovely time.

Our annual family vacation (3 generations) typically includes a stop on St. Simon's Island. We always stay in a house on the island, but this year wanted one closer to the pier (easier walking access for the grandparents). This house was perfect. Location, amenities, and house itself were exactly what we needed. The ONLY thing I would make other renters aware of is the fact only one bedroom is on the ground floor, and the stairs are a bit steep to get upstairs or anyone staying on that floor. The office was quick to respond to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time and will definitely be back! Thanks so much!!

This was the best stay ever!!! The location was more than perfect! It was a 4 minute walk to the Pier, and an 8 minute walk to the Light House. My husband and dad walked to go fishing and crabbing. There was even a crab catcher in the garage that we could have used. There were plenty of beach chairs and a wagon to tote to the beach if you liked. They also had 3 bikes for adults to use if we wanted. We will definitely book again in the near future!!!

We loved our stay at this cottage. It was right next to the pier and shops so we could watch sunset every night and walk around the shops when we were done being in the sun. We really enjoyed our stay in this charming house! I had some reservations about renting somewhere not right on the beach but we couldn't have been more pleased. Much more homey than a condo, it was private, clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The location was absolutely wonderful with a very short walk to everything happening downtown and only three minutes to a super convenient beach access. We definitely hope to book again in the future!

This house was the perfect fit for what we were looking for. It was a very short walk to downtown, the pier, lighthouse, parks, and dining. The kids road their scooters and bikes everywhere we went. It was also a very quick and easy drive to the beach. The location couldn't be any better. The home was comfortable and clean and exactly the space we needed. We had a little hiccup that the rental property (Lighthouse) responded to immediately, so great customer service there! Truly no complains, would love to visit again!
