THE SPACE
Barefoot Bungalow is a comfortable home for up to 6 guests:
~ Master bedroom has a king with ensuite bath with shower and double vanity.
~ The guest bedroom has a queen bed with access to a hall bathroom with shower.
~ The third bedroom has a twin bed plus an additional twin trundle bed and to the a bathroom with shower.
Guests at Barefoot truly enjoy the outdoor living space with gas grill for your use. We are 1/2 mile to the Village and 1.6 miles to Coast Guard Station's beach access.
Parking: There is parking for two cars in tandem in graveled driveway and one car in the front at street.
Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

This was the nicest Airbnb property we have ever stayed in! I loved drinking coffee in the backyard in the morning (that tree is gorgeous). The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. We also loved being able to walk to town with our dog. The kitchen had a ton of storage for our beach snacks/food! We enjoyed using the table to eat our dinners during the nights we stayed in. The house felt very comfortable and there was lots of room. We actually messaged the property owner halfway through our stay to add another night! They were very responsive and that process was super easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our babymoon!

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was perfect. Plenty of room for my husband and I with 2 teenagers. Walked to parks, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the best little house for us to visit family in Brunswick but have a refuge where we could work and relax. The pier was an easy walk/bike ride away as well as the grocery store and several easy restaurants. But the kitchen was easy to use and we made several meals for ourselves and our family. It was very comfortable, quiet, and easy. Our two dogs loved the backyard, too.

House was even nicer than advertised. Spectacular live Oak tree in the back yard which was fenced allowing a great area for our dog to play. Fully equipped kitchen which came in handy. Lovely decor throughout the house. In a great neighborhood for walking and close to the center of town which was ripe with great dining. Close to the beaches as well. Made for a fantastic vacation.

We loved this place!! The decor is beautiful and it was so clean which we really appreciate during this covid time. The backyard is huge with a cute little gazebo and fireplace. This house is bigger than I thought with a perfect layout that makes it feel bigger! This house is in a quiet family neighborhood, close to everything yet secluded. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Right next door there is a circle that the kids loved riding there bikes around and around. Can't wait to stay there again!!

The location is perfect Easy to get to the supermarket takeout food restaurants and the quaint downtown area on the waterfront. If this is applicable for you there???s an airport nearby we one could easily fly in stay and fly home again. The house is very clean and decorated nicely. Soon as we walked in we had a feeling like we could live here. It was a little chilly but on a warmer day we would take Advantage of the spacious backyard with a fire pit gas barbecue and screamed in gazebo. We would definitely go back and stay in this house again. Maybe even retire there.

This was our first time going to St. Simons Island and Ryan's place was great for our family of 4! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, towels were plentiful, check in process was super easy, the instructions were clear and the binder with suggestions on what to do was helpful too. The backyard was fun, but we didn't get to enjoy it much as we spent most of our time at the beach and exploring the island. The house is only 5 minutes from the public beach access. There are many restaurants around and sidewalks to ride our bikes. We definitely recommend Barefoot Bungalow!

A very cute place only a 10 minute walk to the village. So location was quiet and not 'high traffic' at all. The backyard is great for unwinding...kinda makes me wish we stayed in the winter so I could use the firepit! The house was very accomodating and we would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Ryan's place is extremely well located to restaurants, the beach and shopping. The home is immaculate, nicely styled and very comfortable. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything you may need if you decide stay home and cook. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again this fall. This might have been the cleanest, most well appointed airB that we've ever rented. Awesome communication, VERY clean, great kitchen set up, nice large fenced yard, comfy beds in the two main bedrooms. I'd recommend renting or bringing bikes. It's an easy walk to pier but could get tiresome for some folks. Owners clearly have pride in this home and it shows. 5 stars and hope to be back soon!

My husband and I really enjoyed this cute bungalow and the large yard and outdoor space. The downtown/pier area is within walking/biking distance and you could either bike or drive to East Beach. This was a last minute trip idea and Ryan was so easy to work with. We really appreciated his quick responses and transparency.

The house was exactly as advertised and in the pictures - cute and clean. Very functional for my family of 4. The kids are separate bedrooms that they loved. We brought our two dogs (stayed crated while we were out). The backyard is fenced so it was so easy with pets. Bring your bikes - a quick ride to the village pier and beach. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Bungalow with plenty of natural light. The home is only 7 minutes away from the beach and is within close proximity to a grocery store as well. It came stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals and it made for an unforgettable weekend getaway.
