Sunny Dayz is a newly updated duplex townhome located a few steps to the Myrtle Street Beach Entrance. We are conveniently located close to the Village area and walking distance to some of St. Simons most popular attractions and restaurants. Unit B, has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1 half bath and an outdoor shower.


THE SPACE

Our adorable townhome has been freshly update and added new furnishings.

Home sleeps 6.

Upstairs is a King size bedroom (TV) and a hall bathroom with a combo tub/shower. Additional bedroom has a queen size bed and a bunk bed (TV) with queen size on bottom and single on top. Hall Bath is shared.

Downstairs is a half bath at entry, fully equipped kitchen, dining room for 6 and comfortable family room (TV) leading to the fenced in courtyard, with a gas grill, outdoor shower and hot tub as an added bonus. Hot tub is new in 2021.

Guest have access to the right side Sunny Dayz, Unit A. Parking for 2 cars.

We're located mid-beach - halfway between the St Simons Pier Village and East Beach. This stretch of beach is not tide dependent and has plenty of walking distance in both directions. We're walking distance to local restaurant favorites like Crab Daddy's, Barrier Island Brewing, and Porch.

Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend(last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups.We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Booking Policy: Unfortunately we can't host reservations that create 1-2 night gaps.

We found the Lighthouse team to be very professional and quick to respond. The people on the other side of the duplex we're pretty quiet and we didn't hear them. The best part was we were so close to the beach which is wide and long. And the beach is very dog friendly. It's huge and there are a lot of people walking their dogs which gives a great opportunity to stop and chat. St Simons Island abounds with great restaurants and shopping. The duplex itself has a wonderful patio – spacious, comfortable, nicely landscaped. We grilled some fish on the gas grill for a wonderful evening meal on Christmas Eve.

We had a great time at this vacation house! It's got pretty much everything going for it: location, comfort, fun interior design, large and private outdoor patio. Ryan and the management team were very easy to deal with, although we had nothing that needed to be remedied. Loved the tabby exterior, which incorporates seashells into the surface. Highly recommend!

This duplex could not be any better of a place to stay on St. Simons. The location is phenomenal. It is a block away from the beach. You can walk to a coffee shop in the morning, the King and Prince, Rooftop at Ocean Lodge, Fiddlers, Crabdaddys/Crab Trap, Barrier Island Brewing. We also chose to walk the beach to the Village every morning for breakfast, as that's only maybe a 15/20 minute walk as well. The Unit is updated, clean, has everything you will need - towels, equipped kitchen, hot tub. As a previous review mentioned, the stairs in the Unit are steep. One of our Morkies had a tough time with the stairs, but we just scooped him up and carried him when needed. The bedrooms were a good size, shower water pressure amazing. Do remember to bring your passwords for Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, etc. as there is not cable which was totally fine with us. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the back yard patio! The size of it and the privacy is something not easy to find in a smaller place to stay on St. Simons! The 6 plus foot fence and backyard landscape is a 10+++! We only had one issue with construction on the Unit next door. We called Lighthouse and they did send someone out to look into it. Despite that disappointment we would 100% stay at Sunny Days again.

We loved our time there! Very close to the beach… just walk past a house and a condo and you are there. The photo makes it look like a hike, but it's REALLY short. Clean, quiet, safe and very comfortable.

Getaway Long Weekend

This location is super close to a beach access and minutes from anything your need at St. Simons. The inside and outside of this duplex is stunning. The kitchen has all the amenities, but a little small. The dining and living room area is large. The tv in the living room is a little small for the space and there is a random metal supply Cabinet in the living room. The stairs are steep to the two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The main bedroom is large, with a nice porch area. Be careful as it is slight drop down the porch. The other bedroom is smaller and the beds are little small. With only one shower it made getting ready a little difficult with 4 adults. Also the thermostat was locked, and we couldn???t change the temp higher or lower than 75. Small little hiccups, but nothing that would keep us from coming back.

We loved this house! The back patio was beautiful and the beds were really comfortable. It???s in a great location within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The only disappointing thing about the property was that they advertised a hot tub, but the hot tub was sitting on a pallet at the end of the driveway for the duration of our stay. It would have been great if it had been installed and not just blocking the driveway!
