Welcome to Anastasia’s Burrow! This immaculate custom built Southern Living beach cottage is located in the relaxed south end of the village. This charming 3 bedroom / 4 full bath cottage is nestled in the lush landscape of St. Simons Island under a park of live Oak trees. It is a easy walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, pier, lighthouse and entertainment.

THE SPACE
This home has it all, featuring a gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances, wet bar with wine cooler, Bose surround sound system, spacious screened porch with fireplace, outdoor shower and a meticulously maintained private courtyard.

Walk through the French style front doors of this adorable home and you will feel as though you are immediately on Island Time. The large living room with 10’ ceilings is the perfect location in this home for guest to relax and watch the game on the 65” flat screen Smart T.V. Adjacent to the living room is a wonderful flex room which features a full guest bath and closet. It is the perfect space for sitting back and relaxing with a book or playing games.

The living room also leads to the comfortable dining room which features a dining table with seating for six and a wet bar with a wine cooler. Walk through the dining room and you will find yourself ready to cook up something savory in this gourmet kitchen. This Chefs kitchen has a 6-burner Wolf range, a sub-zero refrigerator and two additional drink coolers in the Island that seats 3 guest.

Connected to the kitchen through the back door is a large screened porch with an extra dining table for six as well as an outdoor living space with seating around a large fireplace. Want to rinse off after a day at the beach? The private outdoor shower is the perfect place to clean up before heading inside. The back outdoor courtyard is the perfect private escape for guest to enjoy their morning coffee or evening cocktails while grilling the fresh catch of the day on the custom built-in grill.

Also located on the first floor is the master suite that has a king size bed, T.V. and a large well appointed master bathroom. This spacious bathroom features a double vanity, a large separate shower and a oversized free standing tub to relax after a long day of exploring St. Simons Island.

Upstairs, guest will find an additional den space with a large Smart T.V., laundry room and two adjacent oversized bedrooms. The first upstairs guest bedroom features a king bed and it’s own en-suite full bath with a shower. The second guest bedroom is also spacious and features a king bed and full en-suite bathroom.

Anastasia’s Burrow is the perfect beach escape for its guest to really enjoy “Island Life” in the heart of St. Simons Island.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Dreamy beach getaway!

I don’t usually write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for our recent stay at SSI. This house was darling— exactly as pictured in the photos. It was clean with plenty of space for My husband, our 3 kids and my in-laws. My husband loves to cook and the high-end appliances were great for him. Just a 5 minute walk (with strollers!) to the downtown area and a 4 minute drive to East Beach. We will recommend to all our friends/family! Thank you!

We had an excellent experience with this property. The beds were very comfy and the water pressure was great in the showers (both very important to me!). The kitchen was very well stocked and everything was updated. We loved the large front porch…perfect gathering to escape the sun. The neighborhood is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. I would not recommend the beach down the street during the day because of the tides but we rode are bikes to a great wide beach. You can ride/walk down the entire beach from our street during low tide. I would highly recommend this property and we would stay there again!

Beautiful Coastal Cottage

We recently returned from our first family trip to St. Simon and loved it so much we are now looking into buying our own beach house on the island. Our trip was greatly enjoyed in large part due to the wonderful house we rented for a week. Anastasia's Burrow was not only immaculate but also professionally decorated with all the comforts of home from the beds to the well-stocked kitchen. The location was ideal for family bike rides to the nearby park, a walk to the pier and restaurants and a short drive to the gorgeous beaches. We look forwrad to returning to this gem of a house!

SSI Get-Away

This was the perfect place, both for location and use of home. It was decorated beautifully, immaculately clean, and well supplied with items for cooking. The sitting areas were wonderful. We ate all our meals on the screened-in back porch. Each couple had their own bathroom with an extra bath in addition. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was! It was everything (and more) that we hoped for.

Beautiful interior & exterior, spacious front porch, and a nicely appointed screened sitting & eating area in the back overlooking an awesome courtyard. The home was immaculate, and it was a pleasure to return to after a busy day on the island. The neighborhood is quiet, and the location is perfect. You can walk to the ocean, bars & restaurants. This property was fantastic for my family. It is within a quick walk to the Village where you can find shopping and restaurants, and just minutes away from a park with dozens of hundred plus year old oaks. Several public access beaches are within a 5 to 10 minute drive. The chef's kitchen made cooking meals enjoyable, with plenty of counter space and high quality appliances. We would absolutely recommend this property to others in search of a getaway to Saint Simon's.

Anastasia’s Burrow is a beautiful place to call home while on SSI. The house is nestled on. quiet street, short walking distance into town. Getting to the beach is a quick drive or a bit of a longer walk.The house provides many comfortable places to be, both inside and out. The beds are very comfortable and each sleeping area has its own bathroom. The kitchen can easily accommodate a large family or group. This home truly is a GA gem!

Everything was as good or better than described. Great, quiet neighborhood with short walk to town, beach and pier. Very clean and beautifully decorated house. Very comfortable. Screened in back porch and front porch with fans and porch swing made for great places in the morning and evening to relax with coffee and/or beverages! We grilled several nights on the top the line grill which is a built in unit located on a nice paver patio in the side yard. Whole property is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Not one thing not too like about the house or property. Very high-end living for a beach vacation! Rented a couple bikes and our teen kids were at a different beach/ access every day as there are so many good spots to go on the island as beach accesses go. Ne need to confine to one spot and pay a ridiculous price for a place to stay that is not nearly as nice as this house. Couldn't be happier with our choice.

We just had the most wonderful few days at this BEAUTIFUL home!! It really was just the escape we were looking for. I loved the location of the house. The tree-lined streets are beautiful. We were within walking distance to a perfect, seemingly more private beach. The outdoor shower was amazing. We also really enjoyed all the outdoor living space. The owners were great with communication - since we had never been to SSI, we had a lot of questions! We were so thankful for this beautiful house and a wonderful week! Great location, gorgeous home

This is the first time we’ve stayed somewhere with a “fully-equipped” kitchen that was actually fully equipped! Such a great kitchen to cook/eat in. We enjoyed the proximity to shops and restaurants and didn’t mind a quick drive to the beach access points. Beds were super comfortable (although we had no need of the pull out sofa bed so we can’t vouch for it) and the bathrooms were spacious and private. The outdoor shower was a great way to rinse off before heading through the nice screened porch. Our extended family found this house to be perfect for our needs. Lots of room to spread out but plenty of space in the main rooms to all be together!

To describe Annastasia's Burrow as simply "a beautiful home" does not do it justice. The cottage is gorgeous - like something you would see in a Restoration Hardware catalogue or at the end of an HGTV episode as Chip and Joanna Gaines show amazed owners their new home. The interior is bathed in whites, creams, and soothing shades of blue, with natural wood and wicker throughout. I finally had the chance to cook on a Wolf stove in the well-stocked chef's kitchen. If you enjoy fresh air, take your pick from three exterior locales - the front porch's rockers and swing, the back porch's dining room, or the foliage-walled private garden. *Bonus if you travel with senior citizens. My 83-year-old parents, one of whom is blind, appreciated both the master suite and a second full bath with walk-in showers on the first floor. Unlike many beach cottages, they had to climb only five or six steps to enter the house. We walked each day to restaurants, the beach & ice cream. What a wonderful retreat.

Our time at Anastasia’s Burrow was fabulous and my family would 100% stay here any time we are back in SSI. From the moment you arrive, it is likely you will spend 15-20 minutes simply walking around the home and taking in the incredible features. This is in a prime location and easy access to shops and restaurants. The home is professionally decorated nicer than most primary residences and fully stocked with anything you can think of. The master bedroom is linked directly to an inviting outdoor patio with a fireplace as well as a dining table perfect for board games. The upstairs of the property has two more large bedrooms and full baths . The main level has an enormous kitchen with top-notch appliances, as well as two living spaces for enjoying each other’s company. There is a full bath on the main level off one of the living spaces (could likely double as another room). It is clear all of the property is well thought out and we look forward to staying on our next vacation!

My husband & I had a great 45 year career as developers+custom home builders, we are very selective when we travel.  I have to say this is one of the best homes we have had the priviledge to stay... home away from home!  I am a cook and the kitchen did not disappoint.  The daily question was... Beautiful custom home with well equipped top of the line kitchen. New bedding, linens and furnishings make this house so comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower, and enjoyed many meals on the screened porch. This property is well equipped, very clean, and well maintained.
