THE SPACE
We are excited to offer Blue Star Bungalow for your next St. Simons Island vacation. This is a one level home, with the entrance upstairs through screened in front porch. As you enter the pool area, there is a covered patio area with a gas grill and outdoor bath with shower. Upstairs you enter into the well equipped kitchen and dining area. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the family room. Master, 65" Smart TV and has a king bed with ensuite bathroom with double vanities and a shower. Guest bedroom, 24" TV and has a queen bed with walk in closet. Second Guest bedroom, 42" TV and has two single beds with a walk in closet. Guest bedrooms share a hall bathroom with combination tub/shower.
Pool is 12 X 30 and can be heated for a daily fee of $75.
This home is pet friendly for your dog. Must get approval from host before bringing your pet. A fee of $600 for one-dog will apply.
Whether a romantic getaway or a family gathering, Blue Star Bungalow is an excellent choice located at 4310 14th Street. This is not a party house and occupancy maximums will be enforced and events may not be hosted at this location.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $600 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

We had the absolute best time at the Blue Star Bungalow! This house makes for the perfect beach experience. We spent the mornings at the beach that were steps from the house and the afternoons by the pool. The house is beautiful and cozy and was truly our home away from home. Will be booking many more stays in the future.

This was by far my favorite family vacation ! The house is amazing ! Literally needed nothing the horse was stocked so well. The beach was a very short walk , the pool was perfect for my granddaughter. Everything was wonderful !! The only bad thing about the trip was having to leave

Highly recommend! We felt right at home. The layout was perfect! I loved that you could close the doors to the great room from the kitchen. Beds and linens were very comfortable. And the proximity to the beach was perfection. Thank you for sharing! We will absolutely rent again!

We had Ana amazing stay. We came down for my sons college graduation and this house was perfect for our shrimp boil and pool time with him a a few friends. It is in walking distance to the beach which made it perfect for all of us. I hope to stay here on every trip to st simons island.

We stayed at this amazing home for our summer vacation and just loved it! The home is spacious with the perfect set-up to accommodate a larger group. The home is located within a close proximity to the beach which was very convenient. The pool and the beautiful deck are wonderful additions. I would recommend this property to anyone, can't wait to come back next year!

This house is absolutely beautiful. We very much enjoyed our stay. The space was perfect for our thanksgiving. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meal and do it in fashion. The dinning area had just the right amount of space so that we were all able to sit and eat together. We look forward to renting again for a vacation during the spring/summer months to enjoy this home and all its amenities to their full potential (pool, fire pit, outside bar and seating). Also, loved the short walk to the beach. I would strongly recommend staying here.
Perfect Beach House!

I have rented from VRBO on many occasions and always hold my breath upon seeing the rental in person. However, this home did not disappoint in any way. I walked in and told my husband "I want this home for myself!". As other reviews stated, it's completely renovated inside and out in soothing colors and updated amenities. But what struck me as very important, was the floor plan. Several areas for people to spread out; screened in porch, pool area with fire pit, front living room that closes off with doors, dining area for kids to play games and the kitchen area with bar stools for the ladies (or men) to converse. We were there for my nieces wedding which took place at Villa de Suenos a short 1 block walk from this home. The beach is even closer. We were hoping to use the bikes and kayaks, but the weather wasn't cooperating for this. We had a wonderful dinner on the island at Tramici Restaurant which also has a nice wine list. The town is very quaint with a variety of restaurants and shops. We happened to be there for the Patriots Parade which carried a home town pride with the costumed participants. Anyone who rents this home will enjoy their time on the island and will not be disappointed!
Best House on East Beach!

This is an amazing home! The interior of this home is fresh, new and updated. Open kitchen, and dining area are great for entertaining, and we all loved the huge family room for watching games, and hanging out. The fireplace was nice on chilly nights, and the newly screened porch is very nice addition for comfortable outdoor gathering. We can't wait to visit after the pool is installed in May!

House had everything we needed. Love the bicycles that we were able to use. It is so fun to bike around the island, especially as sunset approaches. We all loved the pool, as that always fills in the gaps between activities. Loved the screened-in porch- we actually ate almost all meals there. Overall, wonderful house and trip. Can't wait to visit the island a 5th time next year.

My family loved the house, bikes, pool and the location of this beach house. We just completed a week of fun at the beach and would book this house again. The house had all the basics covered plus extras like the bikes. Covered parking and a great screened in porch made it even better. A+ rental.

It was a wonderful home complete will all high quality Ammenities a nd finishes. It is obvious this home is kept very well. My mom friends and I had an amazing time with our boys. That pool provided endless entertainment for them.

The house was great. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the games in the tv console. We also enjoyed watching tv on the huge screens! The pool was fantastic!

This is the second time we are at the house, first time with the new owner. It was a great house to begin with, but new owner has had several nice updates. House is at a wonderful location that is literally a block away to the beach. Great parking that can fit 4 cars if you want. Great storage unit with bikes, kayak etc. nice pool to relax. Beautiful practical kitchen that is stocked with nice kitchenware. We had a mini cocktail party with family that went well thanks to the well stocked kitchen. Great trip overall. BTW, communication is also great with the management/owner.

We absolutely LOVED this property. It highly exceeded our expectations, and we were so sad to leave. We are already looking at dates to return. It is very clean, with perfect decorations and so many amenities. And there was a lot more space than we expected! Just a quick walk to the beach and very short drive to the pier. If you???re looking at visiting Saint Simons Island, this is definitely where I would recommend.

This home is by far the best beach house that we have stayed in as a family! It is not only gorgeous, clean, and so close to the beach, but it was equipped with everything and anything that you might need while on vacation! The pool was heated and our kids had a blast swimming after the beach, which is literally a 1 minute walk and in my opinion the best beach on SSI. When the tides were out, there was so much beach and sand to walk and play on. The restaurants and pier area are probably a 3-4 minute drive, but you are far enough away from the busy areas and it is so quiet and peaceful at this home. We could not have been more happy with this vacation, and we will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing place!
