Welcome to Ciao Bella. This beautiful home with refreshing saltwater pool located just steps from the beach at one of the best parts of East Beach.
It Is beautiful here. It only takes three minutes to walk from the salt water pool gate past the palm trees and live oaks to the sand dunes. The only you have to do is follow the footprints and beach cart tracks to the ocean.

THE SPACE
At 10th Street, the beach is uncrowded, restful and about as wide as a football field at low tide. Shrimp boats and large ocean going ships pass by soundlessly on the horizon. People are sunning, walking, jogging, fishing, sailing, flying kites. And always, the sound of the surf heard at the beach and the house. This is the perfect place for families with children.
If you love nature this is the place. Bring binoculars. Bird watching from the beach, and from Gould's Inlet north to Sea Island. Thousands of gulls, sand pipers, and pelicans. Plenty of songbirds, too. And plenty of history on the island and along the coast.
There are three spacious outside areas for lounging and enjoying family and friends. The salt water pool is hard to beat, surrounded by teak chairs and tables and umbrellas. It is sunny all day. The second level deck faces west and is shaded by a canopy of live oak trees, a great place for lunch just off the kitchen with its indoor dining room for eight.There is little traffic here, tucked away on the extreme east end of 10th street at the fourth house from the dunes.
The open floor plan on the second floor, which opens onto a large deck, makes this a great place for entertaining, moving easily from indoors to outdoors. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. And five full bathrooms are bonus at the beach.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $100/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

The property was very nice. It was a quick walk to an apparently seldomly used public access to the beach. It was nice to have attached full bathrooms to all of the rooms.

We loved the house lot's of space for everyone. We enjoyed the upper deck and the deck just outside the kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen well stocked with any cooking needs. Each bedroom has it own bath how great is that! Loved the short walk to the beach. Well worth the value!! this is a must for us next visit.
Perfect family beach house

Located a short walk from the largest expanse of beach on SSI this cottage is ideal for vacationing families. Situated in a quiet neighborhood there is also a salt water pool for those who'd rather spend their afternoons closer to the conveniences of home after a morning in the sand. The roof top patio is perfect for dusk cocktails while viewing the ocean before eating dinner on the deck right outside the kitchen. The coffee table is an ideal size for puzzles. Management is a dream as they efficiently handled everything prior to our arrival and when we forgot to put out the garbage cans on our first day they had the previous renters' trash picked up the next day. We'll be back.

This rental was located perfectly on a quiet street. Just minutes to the beach. We cooked every night. The house had all the utensils and pots and pans to meet our cooking needs. We loved the cozy gathering areas. Plenty of space to get away from others. It was great for a friends getaway.

Beautiful house! It was great that everyone had their own bathroom. There were lots of little extras all around the house. There were lots of unique furnishings and decor! Roof top seating area was awesome! Just be aware that there are 3 floors not including the roof top area so if anyone has mobility issues this could be an issue???.not an issue for us at all. We loved the place!

Rooftop Views & Short Walk to the Beach

This was a great house for 6 adults & 2 children. Each bedroom had its own bathroom--a big plus! The salt water pool proved to be quite refreshing and there were a lot of different outside places to eat. The dining room table that was large enough to fit all of us was much appreciated.

Summer vacation

This was the first time we had stayed at St. Simons Island. The beach was peaceful, very family friendly. It???s was only a short walk to the beach from our house. The house was very clean. Everyone having their our bathroom in their room was GREAT. The pool was well kept and very nice. The only thing that was bad. Was it rain quite a bit and the down stairs twin bedroom leaked. We had to move the bed around to place pans to catch the rain. But over all we had a very good time. Will visit again

The house is as advertised. Enjoyed a.m. coffee and evening cocktails on the rooftop deck. Beach access was a short walk away through a small wooded area. Almost like a secret passage. Make sure you mind your head if you???re tall! House provided plenty of beach chairs and 2 umbrellas; all in good condition. East Beach is a quiet residential neighborhood. Lots of beautiful Live Oaks and houses. The beach was not crowded. We rented bikes, walked and ran on the beach, and had great meals out. Favorites were Georgia Sea Grill, Halyards and Southern Soul BBQ. The Coast Guard Station Museum and Lighthouse commemorating WWII were very interesting and informative. I???m not a history buff but I really enjoyed how interactive the learning experience was. Views from the lighthouse are great! We really enjoyed SSI and Ciao Bella. Would book it again!

One of the nicest houses we stayed at. We had a wonderful time. We had the pool heated and it was wonderful. Great location. On the last day we got up early and went to the roof top deck and watched the rocket launch, that made the vacation perfect.

This house was perfect. The owners had a lot of nice touches that really went above and beyond. For example, here was sunblock and hand sanitizer waiting in the entry way. The house was spotless and the towels and linens were top notch. I would definitely recommend to friends.

We really enjoyed staying in this house. The location towards the end of the island was great to avoid crowds. The beach was a quick walk, although you do need to walk through dunes a bit, but for a healthy person it was easy enough. The house was clean and well stocked. The pool was lovely. I will say the downstairs bedrooms (including the two twin beds) are quite loud when the A/C is on, so that may be a concern for light sleepers - we are heavy sleepers and it wasn't much of a problem.

We had a great stay at Ryan's place. This is a spacious house with an outstanding location and excellent proximity to the best beach on the island. Very comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, pillows and towels - also a great supply of beach towels and beach chairs that we appreciated being able to use. An added bonus was a nice fenced yard that our little dogs loved!

The home was great. Everything worked with no issues. The only complaint would the stairs. Just too many stairs. If there was a lift or even a dumb waiter for getting stuff upstairs it would greatly improve this house. Otherwise we enjoyed the house very much. The house was clean and well appointed. Great experience for us thanks.

We enjoyed our stay Ciao Bella. Close to the beach - bedrooms were good. It was very comfortable for our family/sibling reunion. The kitchen was pretty well set. My only suggestion would be to have better knives. With a large group, you tend to cook more. Would go back.

The house was well equipped and in good shape. We had absolutely no problems or issues during the stay. Some guests might not welcome four flights of stairs (counting the rooftop terrace) but we found it gave us more sense of privacy. Each space in the house had a use for us. Local family came for visits and dinner and we could accommodate 12 easily. We would come back if we needed the size again. It was a great stay.

Ciao Bella was the perfect vacation home for our family and friends. Our 2-week stay included lots of time in the beautiful saltwater pool, game nights in the family room, and home cooked meals prepared in the kitchen. The home is a short 5-minute walk to the beach, and just a short drive to the pier (we drove to the pier for dinner several nights, but also rode our bikes there many times. Convenient either way!) one of our favorite things about this house is that each bedroom had its own full bathroom. Everyone enjoyed that! There are so many things to do in Saint Simons..kayaking in the marsh, sailing, Jekyll Island, and so much more. Local restaurants are awesome, too. PERFECT vacation.

We have rented several different houses at East Beach and this one was by far the most sorted. Every aspect from kitchen accessories to beach toys was covered. We will try to rent again in the future.

Loved the house. We came for spring break, and it was worth the 8 hour drive. House had plenty of room inside, but the outside space was unexpected and wonderful. Lots of decks, and the roof top was really enjoyable in the morning. Would love to come back. It was nice that we could come for 5 days, some rentals you have to go 7 days, and we only wanted to stay 5, so that was really great too.

We enjoyed being so close to the beach access on 11th street and having a nice clean pool. The owners are very gracious in providing beach chairs, beach towels and other household items needed during our stay. Didn't use the kitchen very much but it was very well stocked. Thanks for a great week!

We just returned from our stay and the house was perfect! Yes, there were a lot of stairs but it nicely separated the house. The downstairs was great- has a huge laundry room with a full size refrigerator- very necessary because the upstairs fridge was missing some shelfs and as a result it didn't store as much as it should (my only negative comment) This is an easy fix for the owner. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we cooked most of our meals in. We did go to Coastal kitchen and we loved it!! A lot of outside space to lounge or just enjoy the roof top deck. We stayed in the master and the bed was super comfy. Plenty of coat hangers were provided- you don't always get that in a vacation rental. The beach is super close and the beach was not crowed like the public East Beach. Would highly recommend this house and will be a return customer. The communication with the management company was great- I had verified that there was a k-cup coffee maker and when we arrived it was no where to be found. Since I had brought a lot of k-cups I called the management company. The coffee maker had been broken with the previous guests. They promptly bought another and brought it over to use the next morning.
Lovely neighborhood walk out

The location of this house is its hallmark! Incredible beach walkout. We were practically alone on the beach each morning and evening. We cooked a lot because of the pandemic. The kitchen is a little small for multiple cooks. There are lots of stairs at the house. These are the only weaknesses. Weve loved St Simons for years but this was our favorite trip ever!

Secluded getaway

During this global health crisis, we were looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and secluded spot to relax. This was it. Although the neighborhood has plenty of homes, the streets and beach were almost empty! The property was just as described with great amenities like the pool and just a couple minutes easy walk to the gorgeous beach.
