We are located within walking distance of Gould's Inlet in the East Beach Neighborhood. This is an ideal place to bike or walk when you are not enjoying the beach or relaxing by the pool. Coastal Dream features 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms and we have a POOL!

THE SPACE
The kitchen is fully equipped for stay-at-home meals. There is also an outdoor gas grill for your use. The family room is comfortable with sofa, four side chairs and a 2-seat high top table.
Bedroom layout:
* Primary bedroom beyond dining room. King Bed, en suite bathroom with shower/tub combo, separate walk-in shower, and double vanity. There is access to the outdoor patio. Samsung TV
* Guest Bedroom 1 at front of the home off the foyer: Queen Bed, connecting bathroom with shower/tub combo and single vanity. Samsung TV
* Guest Bedroom 2 with Queen Bed. Samsung TV
* Guest Bedroom 3 with 2 Twin Beds. No TV
Guest Bedroom 2 & 3 have a shared bathroom at the end of the hall with shower/tub combo and single vanity.
There is a full-size washer and dryer off the kitchen in laundry hall for your use.
You will be supplied a starter of soap, shampoo, conditioner and paper supplies.
Note: maximum rental is 14 nights.
Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

This property was very nice and clean. Plenty of space, close to beach and Goulds Inlet. Only 5-8 min away from anything you need. Hosts were very hospitable and stayed in contact. Will definitely stay again when in SSI!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The house was very clean and spacious, providing plenty of room for our family. The location couldn't be better—just a short walk to the beach, which made our days filled with sun and sand so convenient. The host was excellent with communication, always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back for our next vacation. Highly recommend!

This is a great house. Great location. Two blocks from the beach. The pool is very nice. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners were very responsive. I love that the house was remodeled vs the newer massive homes. Nice character and comfortable. Very large master bedroom! Would rent again!

This was a great house! Enough room for grandparents and our family with two young kids. We all had our own space and were very comfortable. The location was great too, a ton of fun outside options between the pool and the beach we wore ourselves out every day!

My husband, myself, and my two children(3 and 1yo) took our first vacation in over a year. We chose this home on SSI as it was drivable from our home and had the perfect combination of beach access and a private pool! We could not have chosen a more perfect home for our needs. Firstly, the location of the home is perfect. It is a short 3-5 minute walk from the home to the beach access down the street. The beach is spacious and constantly changing with the tides, which made it fun for the kids and I to explore each day. During the week we were there, the island was relatively quiet and we alternated between pool time at the house and beach time. However when the holiday weekend hit and the island was much busier, it was so convenient to have a pool at the home to swim at and not have to deal with crowds. Additionally, for those with young kids, it was perfect to have the pool at the home to play in with the older child while the youngest napped. The pool is new and beautiful and well-maintained. There are several poolside loungers and two tables with umbrellas outside. We didn't eat outside as it was quite hot the week we were there, but these would be lovely in slightly cooler weather. The house is far more spacious in person than it even appears in the photos. The living room furniture is comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a long day of fun in the sun. The bedrooms are good sized with comfortable pillow top mattresses in all of them. The master is extremely large and has plenty of room for relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking gear and utensils you could need and the fridge and dishwasher are spacious making storage and clean up a breeze. We had one small problem with one of the tubs not draining while we were there and it was promptly addressed and fixed by the management company without any hassle at all. The neighborhood is beautiful with a lovely residential feel. We went for nightly walks after dinner and loved walking through the beautiful tree-lined streets looking at the surrounding homes and beaches. Overall, this was the perfect location for our first family vacation in a very long time. We look forward to returning to SSI in the future and would love to stay at this home again!

The Lighthouse was amazing! It was clean, very accommodating to our big family of 9, the kitchen had everything (even a cupcake pan to bake for our birthday girl!), and the pool was incredible. They has great parking options, check-in was simple and it's just a minute or two walk to the beach. We came to have a little quarantined oasis with our family during covid - and it was so successfully achieved. We didn't spend any time in public on St. Simon except the beach (which was almost empty) but it looks like a cute little town to explore. Thank you for hosting us!

We would love to rent this house again. One tip: we rented kayaks and stand up paddle boards from Turtle Tides and they brought them to us at Gould's Inlet just down the street from the house

Let me say one thing - WOW!!! This house is amazing. Pictures don't show whole experience when you walk into the house. Great layout and tastefully decorated. Wifi had a strong and fast signal. Outdoor dinning area with a pool was just what we needed!!! The best part you are located 2 short blocks walking distance to the beach. It has very small Public parking area and that prevents from a lot of people coming. It makes beach almost private! Very relaxing and quite area! We couldn't ask for a better vacation! We had an amazing week of vacation at this beautiful home! We had originally booked another lighthouse vacation rental, but just right before we arrived, we were contacted by one of their consultants that they were going to have to upgrade us to another property due to a roof leak at the one we had originally rented. That is what brought us to this beautiful home! This house had a great location, is was very clean, had an amazing outside patio with a pool, and had everything we needed. We had great, quick communication with our rental hosts to answer any questions we had during our stay. We LOVED this home, and we will definitely be back to it. Thank you for taking care of us!!

We had a lovely stay at this property. The location, East Beach, is perfect for families and is tucked in between a beautiful marsh and the ocean. For us, the house was perfect. The location is a 3 min. walk to the ocean and the marsh (with sunset views and interesting wildlife) is across the street. The house feels completely new (we watched the pool be installed earlier this summer). There is a large outdoor dining area and everything was very clean. Also, the property management and reservations were very professional, friendly and easy to work with. The size of this house was perfect for a multi-family vacation of 4 adults and 3 kids. Everything was well stocked. Highly recommend this property for a lovely break.
