THE SPACE
This home offers 3 bedrooms:

- Primary Bedroom: King size bed, adjoining bathroom with combo tub/shower
- Queen Bedroom: Comfortable bedding, in room sink area separate from the bathroom.
- Twins Room: Two twin beds, suited for guests of any age. Shares jack-n-jill bath with the queen bedroom.

Common areas to enjoy:
- Comfortable living room featuring some of our favorite art, and a big TV.
- Dining room off the kitchen with seating for 6
- Well equipped kitchen
- Separate family room as a second gathering place, with its own 65" TV
- Big screen porch with al fresco dining and views of the pool and large private backyard.

Super fast wifi and new smart TVs. Strong air conditioning.

Best of all is our beach location - one house back from the 6th street beach access entrance - about 50 yards. The 6th street beach access offers a GREAT stretch of beach - never crowded, always plenty of sand at low and high tides, and plenty of room to walk in both directions.

Parking is located in the front of the home. Enough space for 3-cars.

6th Street is a quiet street with great neighbors and the best beach on East Beach.

Pool is approximately 12 x 24ft

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Awesome beach week!

My girlfriend and I along with friends had a lovely week at St Simons beach. I've been vacationing at St Simons nearly every year for the past 35 years. I've stayed at lots of places and this one is ranked at the top. Charming, clean, short nature walk to the beach, great pool and screened in porch, wonderful kitchen, and comfortable sitting rooms. I'll be back!

Great house near the beach

This is a lovely house about 200 yards from the beach. The backyard is completely enclosed with a tall, sturdy fence so even larger dogs are safe. There are three bedrooms, two indoor baths (one in between two of the bedrooms) and one outside which can be accessed directly from outside the fence which is great for rinsing off sandy dogs. There is a living room, large dining area, small, but well-equipped kitchen, large den, and large screened-in porch which is great when the itsy little midges come out in the early evening. The back yard had beautiful landscaping, an outdoor table and chairs and a grill. There are no leashes required for dogs on the beach in the spring and LOTS of dogs running around. All the dogs we met were friendly and our dog was unanimously voted "most handsome dog on the beach." The people are also very friendly including the teenagers on spring break. Southern parents know how to bring kids up right. In short, my husband, dog and I loved it.

The perfect vacation home. The accommodations were perfect - from the fenced in pool area to the softness of the sheets. The entire home was so well thought out and furnished. The easy access to the beach and private pool were the best of both aquatic worlds. Would definitely stay again.

Cute and cozy RIGHT by the beach!

Amazing house! Very short and direct walk to the beach. We had 3 adult couples, so it was a tad tight but definitely doable and enjoyable. The living spaces were larger than the pictures made them look! Only thing to mention is that one of the bathrooms listed is actually an outdoor shower with a toilet. So 2 of the bedrooms share a shower. We loved this house and will rent again!

Great East Beach Cottage

We loved this adorable, renovated cottage on East Beach. This cottage is so charming. They did a Great job of keeping the old St.Simons charm with modern updates. It is very close to beach access and the heated pool was amazing in October. When we had a small issue with the shower, the property management was very prompt and responsive to fix the issue. Highly reccomend this property!

Beautiful, newly renovated house

We were the first to stay at this adorable beach house over a long Memorial Day weekend. We went with our young adult children who each brought a guest. House was beautifully decorated- My daughter said it had a very "Nancy Meyers" feel! The main bedroom is quite large and has a good-sized bathroom. The other two bedrooms are pretty small, but we spent most of our time in the comfy "family room" off the kitchen, or on the covered porch out back. It was absolutely perfect in every way. It might be a little tight for 6 adults for a week- the two smaller berooms share a jack and Jill bath, but was great for our group for a long weekend. We would definitely return!

I had a very nice stay. The pictures dont do the house justice. Pool was my favorite even if it didnt work for a couple of days and I had to miss time in the pool because of that. Easy walk to the beach and the house is adorable.

Perfect Do Nothing Getaway

Morning walks on the beach. Lounging by the private pool in the afternoon. Kind of an ideal day in my books. And that is what this place is. Backyard was fantastic. This house has everything. And the neighborhood can't be beat. Super quiet. Very laid back. Only one gripe - last day had a bunch of yard workers show up unannounced while hanging out in the back.
