We are thrilled to invite you to our island oasis, SSI Sunshine! Enjoy a simple, clean, bright space while taking advantage of the screened in porch with TV to watch your favorite shows, a tanning deck with lounge chairs to get your sun fix in, gas grill, and outdoor shower! The property is nestled perfectly in the middle of the main beach accesses and the village/pier area.

THE SPACE
Single story home. Enter into open living and dining area. King master bedroom off living to left, with walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower attached. Kitchen and laundry areas directly behind dining. Guest room with two single twins and closet to left of dining. Full bath with tub/shower combo attached, pocket door creating en-suite bathroom. Guest room with queen bed and closet to left of kitchen. En-suite full bathroom with tub/shower combo attached. Screened in porch directly across from last guest room.

After dinner, a popular activity is strolling through the village, browsing through the boutique shops and eating ice cream. There are a number of local bakeries and sweet shops in the Pier Village that will tempt your taste buds.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

The house and grounds were perfect and manicured to perfection. My son is in the landscape profession so close attention was paid to outside. The house was very comfortable and we absolutely loved the screaned porch. We spent mornings there with coffee and evenings with a glass of wine. Hope to return there again in nar future. Price was reasonable when divided four ways.

The house was every thing advertised; clean, comfortable and strategically located. The neighbors were nice and also helpful providing information, recommendations, directions, etc. The home provided easy access to the Village section and other side of town using Demere. It was convenient to have a “u” shaped driveway for easy egress and ingress. The well groomed yard was perfect for our small dog. We enjoyed our 8 week stay so much we already reserved for next year’s winter season.

Location was great for all of the events - close to the Lighthouse, the Presbyterian Church on Kings Way, the Reception at the airport, Dorothy’s Restaurant, private home hosted Welcome Dinner, etc. it was great to have each bedroom with its own en suite full bathroom! We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. Meals at the house were easy because the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes and cutlery. Backyard was beautiful. We loved our morning bike rides to the beach and the outdoor shower made it easy to get everything/one cleaned off before going inside.

Perfect getaway for a few days! The accomodations were comfortable, squeaky clean, and a great location for exploring the island, and sampling all the great eateries. Great house, great location! We walked to dinner at Fiddlers and Barrier Island Brewing and an easy walk to the beach. We spent every evening on the screened porch before climbing into the comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. Whoever remodeled this house did a fantastic job and I’ll be searching for the master bath tile when I remodel my guest bathroom!

Can’t say enough about this beautifully renovated home close to everything! It is “like new, charming, comfortable, bright, and very clean. The decor is lovely inside and the spacious screened in porch overlooks the cutest fenced in back and side yard with two decks with seating and a fire pit. The location is perfect and walking distance to the village area, pier and multiple restaurants. We were in town for a wedding at The Cloister and it was a quick and easy drive to Sea Island. Highly recommend this property for your next trip to St Simmons Island!

Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood; walkable to local restaurants and shopping. Lots of storage, extras and comfortable beds/furniture. Impeccably clean with lots of room for the 6 adults we had staying there. We spent several hours outside on the patio and around the fire pit. Loved the backyard landscaping! Definitely would recommend this Airbnb to friends!

Perfect place for girls getaway! The house was clean and perfect. Communication with the Lighthouse team was easy and they were always very responsive throughout the booking and planning process and even during the stay when contacted. The only hiccup we had was that we were given the wrong code to enter the house but again we Lighthouse after hours and they were quick to get us the appropriate code within a couple of minutes. Additionally, the fire pit outside is not for guest use which is a bummer since it is in the pictures and was part of the reason we picked this listing. But overall great stay, and highly recommend!

Great spot in Saint Simon, we could bike everywhere and the house had everything we needed, was super clean and very nicely decorated with all the appliances, TV and everything one might need. The private patio is cute and clean and very pleasant as well as the back porch. Great spot!
