Welcome to Sea Side Cottage, the private, spacious guest cottage of Seaside Inn! We are very excited about this cute, cozy place just steps to the beach! This cute and comfortable beach cottage is in the perfect location and is within a very short walking distance of one of Saint Simons Island's best beaches. Recently updated, Sea Side Cottage features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (with a double vanity).

THE SPACE
Primary Bedroom: King bed, flat screen TV.
Second Bedroom: Twin Bed and Trundle Bed.
From the beach, walk in through a large, private deck area with seating for 4. Through the large glass doors off of the deck, walk into a large living room with a flat-screen TV and seating for 5. Off the living room, there is a well-equipped kitchen with bar seating for two and a dining room with seating for 4.
Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

This place was awesome for a family beach vacation. A short walk to and from the beach each day within a very private and quiet neighborhood felt ideal for us. Our family likes to stay clear of noise and parties while vacationing and spend most our time on foot and not in the car. It was nice to have a full kitchen as well to cook our food and laundry access for the kids.

Very nice high end looking place. We loved the decor and the high end appliances and decent kitchen knife set since we like to cook on vacation. The location was perfect. The king size bed was great with plenty of pillows. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Ryan‘s house. The home is decorated very cute for a beach vacation and it was spotless. They had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen plus some seasonings and other items. We were on a quiet street and were able to walk to the beach. The patio outback was a perfect place for our kids to play, to eat and to hang out and relax. Highly recommend!

Our family of 3 fit nicely in this cute home. Plenty of linens and well stocked kitchen. When we arrived there was no grill as advertised, however, we contacted the property manager and had one on the porch within hours. Nice neighborhood for waking/jogging and the walk to the beach was not bad at all. We enjoyed our time here!

This is a lovely unit in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach. Everything is new and clean. The furniture and beds are really comfy, and the kitchen is laid out well and fairly well equipped for cooking. The beach access just a block away (coast guard beach) is crowded, but biking a few blocks to 11th or 12th street put us on a much quieter part of the beach.

Great little spot super close to East Beach! Was a little hard to find the front door when we went to check in in the dark (look for the patio), but everything was great once we found it and the king bed was extremely comfortable!

Had a fantastic stay. Everything was exactly as advertised. The location, in easy walking distance to the second street beach, could not be beat; very close, yet very quiet and private. This was perfect for my wife and I. I used the second bedroom, which had a nice desk set up, for keeping up on work. The patio area out front was comfortable and very private. Kitchen was adequately stocked with everything we needed. The home is immaculately clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Would definitely book here again.

Went here for a long weekend with my mom and sister and it was amazing! The space was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Easy check in too with a code on the door! Located in a quiet neighborhood and steps away from a beautiful beach and a short drive to the pier that had shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway!

This place was a total delight and the location was perfect. You can walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes and bike to the center of town in under 10 minuets. The neighborhood isn't crowded either so we had an easy time socially distancing. We enjoyed the layout and thoughtful organization of the space. This condo is spotlessly clean.

Great Condo Next to the Beach

We absolutely loved our stay on 2nd street. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and the brand new furnishings/finishes were fantastic. The home was very clean and more spacious than it looked in pictures. Only downside was the infestation of mosquitoes, not sure if the whole island was experiencing this problem or if it was unique to this area. They were absolutely swarming us every time we went outside. There was a ton of rain while we were on the island, so this is no fault of the owners. We would definitely recommend this house for someone looking to be off of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area, but still close to everything and right next to the beach! Would definitely recommend!
