THE SPACE
Charming coastal home has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms:
Main Floor:
* Queen Bedroom
* Bunk Room (double on the bottom, twin on top) Hall bath with shower.
Upstairs
* The Master Suite has a King bed, en-suite bathroom with shower.
* Guest bedroom with a Queen bed. Shares hall full bathroom with a shower.
* Twins Room has two twin beds. .Shares hall full bathroom with a shower.
Upstairs also has an additional family room with large screen TV.
Short walk to the beach and to to the historic World War II Museum.
Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Fun at the beach

Felt like home

We loved the house. We come to the island every year and this was our first time staying at this property. There were several areas where we all could gather together. It was cozy and clean. Weather wasn't stellar so we actually spent more time in the home than usual and it was great. Our oldest is getting married in 15 days and we all needed some chill time beforehand and this property allowed that.
Outstanding home near East Beach

We loved our stay at this beautiful spacious home. We had 8 adults and 3 toddlers. There was plenty of space for us to spread out, and the 5 bedrooms were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and we all ate together at the dining room table. We loved the location with the easy access to the beach as well as lovely streets to bike on. We enjoyed biking downtown to see the lighthouse, visit shops, and get ice cream. We hope to stay at this house again someday.

This home was very well priced and the home was impeccably appointed for either a beach vacation or in our case a work trip allowing a crew of 7 adult men to comfortably stay together while traveling and allowing us to make meals vs a hotel and having to eat out 3 times a day. Simply can't say enough about the property, location, and value for the price. We will be seeking out Light House Properties for all our future work in the area. As 6 Generation St. Simons Island Native we appreciate the accommodations.

The house was as lovely as it looks in the pictures. It has plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, coffee machines and most everything you would need to prepare a meal. The screened patio offers a cool place to relax in the evenings. It is in a very convenient location to the 1st Street Beach Access. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Great house for a family trip. The pictures don't do it justice; much bigger than expected for our large family. Beach was a warm walk, so we rented a golf cart which was also fun to ride around the island. Mattresses were very firm, but otherwise very comfortable home. Great find!

This house was absolutely beautiful and clean inside! We appreciated the travel size shampoos and soaps that were provided. There were plenty of towels and the washer/dryer were great. The screened in porch was the perfect spot for breakfast each morning. There was tons of space with 5 bedrooms and the extra living room upstairs. It was a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the outside shower that made getting the sand off easier. Check in and check out was super easy. The picture of the blue beach access sign was a bit misleading though. While the walk to the beach isn???t bad, it???s not what we thought it was. I would estimate it???s a couple blocks by the time you walk around the houses. (You can see the beach access from the back yard but have to walk around to avoid trespassing on private property). With that said, it appears most homes around there are a short walk to the beach, so we felt that it was still good proximity compared to other homes. We would recommend this home to our friends who visit Saint Simons.

This house has everything you need with plenty of space to spread out. Centrally located so you???re close to the beaches, marshes, and many restaurants and shops. The kitchen has everything you need-lots of cookware, utensils, and serving dishes. Highly recommended!

Perfect Location & Plenty of Room

Loved the property location! It would be nice if there was a path through the backyard to Coast Guard parking lot just for ease. We loved the screened in porch and mostly grouped out there enjoying the island breeze. It was tough with 8 adult ladies and forcing two of us to sleep in the bunk beds which were not very comfortable. Overall loved the place just a few bed updates would be great!

This house is in an amazing location - an easy walk to the coast guard station beach access and Goulds Inlet. The house he a very nice layout for families and has been beautifully updated. Lots of little nice touches like extra outlets and USB ports for convenience. The upstairs den area would be really nice for families with older children and the house itself is very well setup for large groups to stay comfortably! We 100% hope to return!
Great Property - Missing one thing.

This is a great property and we would not hesitate to book it again. The one shortfall is related to access to efficient EV charging. While we could recharge using the convenient 110V wall charger, it would be a big plus to have a 220V Level 2, J-1772 charging station. Electric vehicles are the future of transportation.

This home is so well maintained, with all the modern things you might like from the kitchen to the lighting fixtures to the decor. We loved staying here. Super friendly neighbors- for us it was the best part of the SSI beach. We wanted to stay longer!

This house is simply lovely. It's immaculate, extremely well apportioned, and beautifully decorated. The ship lap walls and modern touches are a perfect mix of its history and updated conveniences. The master bath is to die for. Ryan is extremely friendly and communicative. Beds are very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you can imagine including both a keurig and a coffee pot. It doesn't feel like staying in an AirBnB. It feels like staying in an amazing bed and breakfast.
