THE SPACE
SEACLUSION is the upper floor of a unique two-unit oceanfront vacation property on St. Simons Island, accessible via an outdoor stairway to the upper deck.
SEACLUSION is located directly on the sandy shore of the Atlantic Ocean, within one-half mile or a 10-minute walk to the village/pier area. Our home has recently been renovated and features a DIRECT and UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, the shipping channel, and Jekyll Island. You will have peace and quiet in your private beachfront backyard while enjoying 180-degree beautiful ocean views from your living room, open kitchen, and dining room through two sets of big glass sliders. You can see Jekyll Island and Cumberland Island from the patio and living room, and throughout the day you can experience the ever-changing tidal patterns that come with the ocean's gentle ebb and crashing flow on the rocks in front of SEACLUSION.
Enjoy waking up and walking out to your private deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, feeling the wonderful ocean breezes above your own private white sand beach.
Sit back and relax.
Watch the ships and dolphins go by.
Sit in the sun and get a tan.
Read a book.
Go biking and walking on the beautiful flat sand beach, and spend tranquil moments wading and fishing in the waters close to shore.
We also offer SEACLUSION TOO (Unit 2) - the lower unit, a barrier-free condo at ground level. The floor plans of both condos are identical, and both are beautifully furnished and appointed. If one is not available, be sure to check on the other listing.
Each unit features two bedrooms with comfortably appointed king beds and an open dining room/living room with a sofa sleeper with unobstructed ocean views . A queen-sized air mattress is also available. Two bathrooms feature a tub with shower and walk-in shower, respectively. Renovations to the kitchen, baths, flooring, windows, walls, etc., include comfortable furnishings, all tile and wood flooring, both air conditioning and ceiling fans, and a laundry room. We have a flat screen TV in both the living room and primary bedroom.
We also have all the necessities--dishwasher, pots, pans, silverware, blender, towels, linens, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, spices, charcoal grill, etc.
Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

My parents started bringing me to SSI when I was a child. As a college student, I introduced my boyfriend (now husband) to this amazing nostalgic island. We married and moved to the island for a brief 3 years. We left SSI for the city and had two sons. Continuing our vacation tradition, they played on the same beaches and my youngest learned to swim on one of those trips. Now, we bring a new generation of grandchildren to this beautiful beach.

Wow, what a fantastic location. Walkable to the Village, great restaurants and the King and Prince. Fantastic covered front porch right on the beach. Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. Will definitely be back!

Fabulous 180 degree ocean front property close to pier, village and dining

The condo was all I had hoped it would be. A modern updated kitchen was well equipped for those evenings to stay in and cook. A overwhelming view of the Atlantic Ocean was enjoyed from the porch, dining and living areas. The bedrooms were equipped with comfortable beds and lots of closet space. The most enjoyable was having my dog accompany me. We took many long walks on the beach and enjoyed the company of many dog owners and their pets. Dogs are allowed off leash to run and play in the water and sand 24 /7. This was such a treat compared to other beaches along the coast. Pet owners were very responsible about keeping the beach clean. I had a wonderful time and hope to return again soon.
Great vacataion getaway for families!

My husband, my young son and I had a great stay at Seaclusion! It's walking distance to Mallery Street, the Lighthouse, restaurants and shops. The view is fantastic, and you can see the water from the living room, dining room and kitchen - we loved watching the wildlife (dolphins, birds and fish) and the ships come in and out of the port. The house was great too - having the kitchen there was fantastic because we made dinner at home each night. We highly recommend it for a relaxing, low-key vacation. We hope to be back again soon!
Seaclusion is so charming!

We are checking out today, but would love to stay longer! My sister (from Atlanta) and I (from Florida) met here with our 3 daughters for a little summer getaway. We stayed in the second floor unit and the views from the condo (both inside and out) were amazing. After long days soaking up the sun on the beach (steps away!), we spent the evenings sipping wine on the balcony listening to the breeze and the ocean waves. The kitchen was well equipped and the large king beds (both bedrooms!) were extremely comfortable. The main living area has a great design and the open layout is perfect for hanging out and forming lasting memories with family! We loved this little hamlet and we will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you St. Simons and Seaclusion for a memorable stay!!
Perfect Location

Our week was awesome...long walks on the beach. A variety of species seen. Hugh ships and small ones. Perfect distance to walk to down. Check out the wharf.
Best Beach Retreat

This was the cutest place to stay. We stayed for a bachelorette girls weekend and had the time of our lives. We loved the condo and enjoyed the beds, location, and extra toys. So helpful to have sheets and towels already there (a space saver in the car)! Kitchen was great and easy to find things. The porch was lovely with an amazing view and access to the beach. During high tide the beach is gone but the sandy part in front of the house was perfect for continuing beach play. We booked a bi-plane tour and it was an amazing experience. Kayaking with Turtle Tides was also an adventure and the tour guides were so fun. Food, bars, and location was great. We walked everywhere and rode bikes. I will definitely be coming back for another visit and will stay here again.

We stayed here in 2019 and wanted to return in 2020 but Covid had a different plan so we were able to stay again this year and it was just as amazing as I remembered. The property is in a perfect location, clean, everything works like it should! I was particularly excited to see that they got a new table for the deck that was a high top so you could see the ocean view. Morning tea/coffee is to die for on the deck as is evening cocktails. I can't wait to go again next year!!

My husband, myself, and our 3.5 yr. old boy stayed in Seaclusion Too, and it was paradise. The private beach was perfect for him to play on while my pregnant self could easily supervise from right inside the house since he was only feet away from me. It had all the things we needed in a house, and the beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommend it to anyone, especially a family with kids.
Peaceful get-away

This was the perfect cozy get- away. The whole front of the unit is glass so the ocean is always right there before you, literally steps away! The decor is beachy-retro and tastefully done and it was exceptionally clean. It was awesome to have two master bedrooms, really, so perfect for 2 couples and no one feels like they got the lesser room. The porch was my spot, just sitting there reading and listening to the tides and feeling the ocean breeze. The only problem was I didn't want to leave! (One small suggestion: throw blankets for those cool days and night)

The property was perfect for up to four people. Beds are comfy, two baths is great, plenty of bath towels. Amazing beach views, right next to public beach access (pro and con). Two TVs, ceiling fans in bedrooms are appreciated. We always appreciate pet friendly rentals, as do our two furbabies.
AWFUL -ly nice

I just returned from a weeks stay. Its tempting to tell everyone what a horrible place this is so I can have it all to myself next year. But it was simply wonderful! The listing and photos are accurate. Its clean, very comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently located. The view from the deck is excellent with lots of interesting boat traffic and wildlife to watch. Booking could not be easier and the managers were very responsive. The pet fee is pretty steep, but if this were my place, I wouldnt even allow pets, so I cant hold that against them. If the wi-fi was dependable in the back of the unit, and if the deck were screened in, Seaclusion would be absolutely perfect. If you are looking to completely relax, doze in the shade, drink cool beverages, and sleep to the sound of the surf, I can highly (but reluctantly) recommend Seaclusion to you. Ill be back for sure.

What's not to love about an oceanfront cottage, steps from the beach, very clean, well supplied and with prompt response from owners? We enjoyed being a short drive/bike ride to restaurants & shops. Nearby places of interest include historical St. Simons Lighthouse & Museum, Fort Frederica & Kayaking with Southeast Adventure Outfitters (Mike and Cathy were awesome guides).

Loved the property on the beach. The two large bedrooms were great for us and for our adult daughter! It is Convenient to restaurants and fun things to do. We loved meeting our downstairs neighbors and sharing A cocktail with them! Communication was quick and was easy! Thanks so much! Hope to be back next year!
New favorite

My family has been visiting St. Simon's in the summer for years. We love it there, but now we love it even more! We have stayed a variety of places in the past - usually condos "on the beach" but actually with a short walk to the beach and no view of the water. The location really sets this place apart. I can't even count the hours we spent on the balcony watching the ocean. We saw dolphins multiple times every day. Basically it's like having your own private beach because when the tide is up, there is less access. Another huge plus is that it's such a short walk to the Village where parking is always ridiculous. It's about a half mile, and if the tide is out, you can walk down on the beach. We also really enjoyed the spaciousness of the unit and that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. A couple small things could be improved like some hand towels in the bathroom and more bowls in the kitchen, but the location 100% makes up for those minor things. We loved it and will be back.

Scenic Beachfront Condo

We took our adult children and grandchild for a vacation in St. Simon's. The condo was clean, comfortable and well-equipped--from the coffee to Netflex access. There was a sandy area directly in front of the condo which was great for young children to play--as a matter of fact there are several parks for children nearby. We enjoyed watching the large boats as they started their journey up the east coast. The beach itself was a good place to swim and feed the gulls. We took a short trip to Jekyll Island, as well as Christ Church and Fort Frederick. Moreover, there are many restaurants within walking distance of the condo. We had a fabulous time.
