The holidays come alive each year as Jekyll Island begins the season with the Christmas Tree Lighting Festival the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the Historic District is resplendent with Christmas lights and decorations. The celebration continues with caroling, craft workshops, themed tours and other seasonal activities.
