The third concert in Golden Isles Arts & Humanities’ summertime concert series, Sounds by the Sea, is the local band Michaele & the Ambiguous. Michaele (pronounced like Michelle) is a Rock/Pop/Blues vocalist and keyboard player originally from the suburbs of Chicago, who now resides, performs & teaches in the Golden Isles. Her band is called “the Ambiguous” because there’s a revolving roster of musicians who may accompany her. For this show, she’ll have the talents of Cliff Brandon. Damien Fedorko, and Mike Alongi.
The concert takes place at Neptune Park on St. Simons Island directly behind the Casino building. The concerts take place from 7-9 p.m. and guests are encouraged to bring a picnic supper and a lawn chair or blanket to relax on.
New this year are online ticket sales for Sounds by the Sea which can be purchased at www.goldenislesarts.org or by calling 912.262.6934 and are only $12 for adults. Children ages 6 to 12 are $5, and under 6 years old are free. Patrons are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.
