Lighthouse Cares is our commitment to stand alongside children and families navigating some of life’s hardest moments.
Across Georgia and beyond, thousands of children enter foster care each year not because of anything they’ve done, but because they need safety, stability, and hope. Behind every one of those children is a foster parent who said “yes” when it wasn’t easy.
Our mission is simple:
to support loving foster parents and equip them to say “yes” to Georgia children in need of care.

How We Support Foster Families
We strategically partner with foster care organizations locally, across Georgia, and nationally to provide support where it’s needed most.
Financial Support
We give directly to trusted nonprofits working in child welfare to help fund programs, resources, and emergency needs for children and families.
Volunteering
Our team serves hands‑on—showing up to support events, assist agencies, and meet practical needs within the foster care community.
Respite Hosting
We represent homeowners who open their properties to host foster families who need short‑term respite, giving caregivers time to rest and recharge so they can continue caring well.
Lighthouse Cares Retreats
Each year, we host Lighthouse Cares Retreats for foster families and foster agency staff—creating space for rest, connection, encouragement, and renewal. These retreats are our way of saying: you matter, and you’re not alone.
Why This Matters
Foster care is hard. Loving children through trauma is hard.
But when foster parents are supported, children experience stability, healing, and hope.
By investing in foster families, we’re investing in better outcomes for children—and stronger communities for all of us.
