THE SPACE
Two Bedroom home located at the end of Wood Avenue near the Driftwood Drive Beach Entrance. Approximately 300 yards to the beach. Upon Entry is a fully equipped kitchen with electric appliances and breakfast dining area. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a stacked washer and dryer for your use. Downstairs is a full bath with shower. There is a family room with a big screen TV and eating area. We really enjoy the outdoor space shaded by a canopy of live oaks. This is the perfect place to wind down after a long day at the beach and grill. Our home sleeps 6 comfortably in a King (upstairs), two twin beds (upstairs) and a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

We're located mid-beach - halfway between the St Simons Pier Village and East Beach. This stretch of beach is not tide dependent and has plenty of walking distance in both directions. We're walking distance to local restaurant favorites like Crab Daddy's, Barrier Island Brewing, Fiddlers, and Porch.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Really was just a five minute walk to the beach... The back was fenced in making it great for the dog. Gas grill worked well, and the location was convenient to everything.

We took our dogs for an extended beach weekend and had a wonderful time! The townhome is not on the beach but very close, easy to go back and forth as needed. There is a very nice patio with an area on the side to hose off sand as-needed. The townhome was nicely stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and the management company was available and helpful. Will definitely visit again!

We loved staying at Ryan's place! So close to the beach, fully equipped kitchen and lovely outside area to relax every evening! We enjoyed having an outside area for our dog and there was a convenient tape outside to wash off all the salt and sand from the beach. We loved grilling outside at night!

Perfectly located, within a short walk to the beach, you cannot go wrong with this inviting, cozy, and charming two bedroom two full bath condo. When we arrived everything felt fresh and clean. Soft music was playing and the gentle light was streaming in from the open blinds. It made us feel welcome and relaxed. Just a short drive into St. Simon's village, making all the tourist attractions easily accessible. The condo was well stocked with amenities, and the washer/dryer made it easy to pack light. The shaded backyard deck, was our favorite spot to have our morning coffee. The Host Book was helpful in letting us know about the house rules, various restaurants and activities we could explore. Communication between the owners and management company was very easy. We would definitely return in the future!

This place is in a great location. It actually takes longer to walk from the opening of the beach to the water than from the Airbnb location to the beach. Plenty of towels - much needed when being at the beach. Also loved the privacy area for the water hose. We were easily able to spray off from the beach without feeling awkward. Beds were super comfy as well!!

The duplex was a great fit for our family vacation. It was more like a 5 minute walk to the beach but close none-the-less. Easy access to restaurants (walking distance) and cozy. We had a last minute need that the host graciously accommodated. Overall, great experience!

The Perfect Location to Decompress!

We spent the week here after attending a wedding in Charleston. It is the perfect location in a quiet cul de sac. Literally a block from the beach access. Super close to the village. And most of all, it was pet friendly. We came at the perfect time of the year, when dogs are allowed off leash on East Beach. Our mini- Aussie had a blast chasing the frisbee and wading in the ocean. This property is very well maintained, super clean, and perfect for a family vacation. We will definitely be coming back to stay in this exact unit again!

This townhouse is very comfortable and conveniently located. The back patio is nicely shaded by a large live oak tree and was great for outdoor meals and socializing.
Cozy, convenient place close to the beach

The property is so close to everything. 5 min walk to the beach, easy bike ride to the Village, 30 minutes drive to Jekyll Island. We loved it. It doesn't have any extras - no beach stuff, no bikes, no extra anything really. It's a little dated but everything was clean and worked well.

The house was extremely clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated having a well-stocked kitchen and gas grill for cooking. The location was excellent -- very quiet dead-end street and just a few minutes walk to the beach. St. Simon's is very dog-friendly, unlike many other beach communities, which is a huge reason why I chose SSI and this house. There are many excellent hiking and biking trails in the area, interesting historical sites, and the beautiful Christ Church property.

Lovely condo in a peaceful location. Very convenient to the beach, biking paths and close to the village and grocery stores. We greatly appreciate Ryan hosting dogs as our Labrador was in heaven. The beach access walkway through the dunes is a beautiful walk on its own before you even get to the beach proper. The unit has an outdoor hose for washing dogs and shoes. Ground floor unit made loading and unloading so easy. We'd love to stay there again.

Our stay was overall great. Love the location, super easy with just my husband and two dogs. Had everything we needed. Its a little outdated but it was fine for the price, location and needs. The only thing was that the sheets really were not clean. We found black hairs all over the pillows and sheets, and we are a blond family including our dogs! The king bed also isnt the best but doable.

Major positive: super close walk to lovely beach with tide pool and good waves for boogie boarding and morning and evening dog time. Boogie boards and chairs available at the house. Minimalist, outdated home style and furnishings and appliances but works as a home base for a family beach vacation. Near to nice village amenities including beach supply store with bike rental, brewery, package store, restaurants.

We arrived and the house was perfect. It had everything we needed for the trip and was closer to the beach than we thought. The house was supplied with everything we needed. We didn't even need to bring the usual extras like laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid. Full of anti-bacterial wipes as well to keep us COVID safe. We had a great stay and enjoyed the duplex very much. Easy to find. Close to the beach. Ice cold air conditioning. 🙂 Within bike rides to all the fun places. Great stay!

Great location!!!! Located at the end of a cul de sac and only 2 blocks from the beach!! The 2 bedrooms upstairs have nice newer carpeting and comfortable beds and bedding. (king bed in one room and 2 twins in the other). Plenty of closet space in both bedrooms and in the upstairs hallway.

It may not be the most updated unit, but it was so clean. The water pressure in the shower is great! The backyard area was perfect for the two of us and our small dogs. The unit is at the end of a quiet culdesac. It was one block away from the beach so there was no need to worry about parking. The pictures do not show how great this little place is! We will definitely stay here again when we travel with the dogs!
