Welcome to Waterlily! This 4 bedroom 2.5 bath beach house has been renovated and updated just in time for your summer vacation. With a pool in the back yard, the beach just 3 blocks away, and plenty of sunshine on the back deck, you'll have plenty of options to enjoy the outdoors on your trip to St. Simon's Island. The house has 4 bedroom and 2.5 baths is the perfect spot for your family vacation!

THE SPACE
Primary Bedroom Suite: King bed, flat screen TV, full en suite attached bathroom with dual vanity sinks and shower. Private access to the back deck and pool.
Second Suite: Configured the same as the Primary Bedroom above - king bed, flat screen TV, en suite attached bedroom, and private access to the deck and pool area. The only material difference is that the attached full bathroom with tub/shower is shared.
Queen's Room: Queen Bed - sleeps 2. Casual comfortable decor - you can't help but relax in this bedroom!
Bunk Room: The fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds - sleeps 4 total. We had kids in mind when we designed this room but kept the decor neutral so boys, girls, teens, or adults will feel at home. Bathrooms: In addition to the 2 full bathrooms described above, there is a half bath nearest the bunk room.
The pool outside gets plenty of sun and is a good size for family swim & play - it measures 13x25. We look forward to hosting you on your vacation! FLETC considered for winter and spring months.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly with $150 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

We had a great time staying in this house. It is tucked away on a nice quiet street close to everything. Bring your bikes or rent a golf cart ($500 for the week) and leave the car behind. When it gets too hot, just relax pool side. Huge deck and plenty of room outside for everyone. The only drawback to this house is the kitchen. It's a little small. We were still able to prepare meals but counter space is limited. I would recommend this rental, especially for families and pets.

My partner and I had our grown kids at the home for the week and it was wonderful. We hosted Thanksgiving there for extended family and then went to the beach for a long walk. Beaches are dog friendly so they were in absolute heaven. The property was adorable and perfect in almost every way. The kitchen was a bit small and I would consider closing in the back on the side that is open for pets. Overall 10/10 great memories!!

Plenty of comfy beds, amazing and safe location, walk/bike everywhere, great pool and lots of extras (while we were there at least) like 2 bikes, 4 beach chairs, beach tent and wagon. Super helpful. We appreciated the washer and dryer and other small perks. The pool area is fantastic, but is not fully enclosed for adventurous pets. Bring your own beach towels and ice. Parkers has bagged ice pellets that are easy to use and enjoy the island.

House was perfect for us (3 kids, 2 parents 2 grandparents and dog). Close enough to walk or bike to beaches. town, the lighthouse and ice cream shop. Quiet neighborhood great for walking dog. House was clean and well equiped. Shed had pool toys and beach wagon. We rented bikes and biked all over the island. Loved eating on the pool deck and using the grill. Owers were great to communicate with and very responsive. Also close to grocery and other stores. Plenty of room in house for all of us. Pool was great for the kids. They had a blast playing shark and minnows with us. Made great memories here. Highly recommend

We liked the home. I think the renovations were a few years back but decor is current and we enjoy older homes. There were items available for cooking but wish renters be asked to empty the grill after use. You can definitely walk to the beach if you aren't carrying a load but we found parking in early morning and evening too.

This house has a great heated pool that my family thoroughly enjoyed and is located in a wonderful location close to beaches and shops. The house itself had some quirks-a leaky shower and a window that wouldn't close in the master bathroom, a bubbly floor, cabinets that were hard to open and close. We were a little disappointed in the amount of towels, the state of the pots and pans, and the lack of recycling. The guests were really responsive and quick to help in the ways that they could. All in all, the location and the amount of space make up for all of the little things. We would definitely book again!
Large house with heated pool

The house is spacious and can accommodate 8-10 people easily. The heated swimming pool is where we spent most of our time. The kitchen is small and the sliding bathroom door is a hazard for children. The neighborhood where the house is located is not well kept and there are 2-3 houses on the street which are occupied but completely falling apart.

the website neighbors photos looked like the rooms were much bigger. The master bedroom linens were wonderful but It shared a bathroom with the guest bedroom. And doors to the pool were through the two master bedrooms which was inconvenient. We had a good Stay but definitely would not rent again for a family reunion. Beach was close but not walkable.

Close to beach, village and restaurants. We used our golf cart to go to the beach and some restaurants. Loved the tv channel varieties, all the tech hookup areas in house. The WiFi was a little slow. Lighthouse was very responsive to our needs. Enjoyed out side areas until dusk, when the bugs came out. We grilled and cooked. The kitchen was well equipped. We all enjoyed out time spent there. Thx

Ryan N Crystal are by far the best possible people to do business with. They were on top of any and all issues we had and addressed them faster than could have been expected. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an enjoyable vacation. Water Lily is a cute beach house in walking distance to the beach/village. We had small children with us and the pool was great to have for them to jump in all day and the walk to the beach was very doable.

The house was perfect, especially if you have kids. Every little detail was covered, from beach umbrellas and bicycles, to coal and lighter fluid for the grill. The house felt like a Southern woman with great taste put a lot of heart into decorating and restoring it. Location was perfect. Neighbors were super nice. Really quick walk to the beach. Pool and deck areas are awesome. Tea lights in the back and shiplap in the living room were great touches. Owners were responsive and gracious. You would be lucky to vacation in this home. Our family plans to book it again next summer. Pentair pool filter system was the best I have ever seen.

We enjoyed the Waterlily home! Having a private pool added a relaxing touch to the overall experience. If you have kids/teenagers, this is such a bonus for them to be able to hang out at night swimming under the lights! It was an easy walk to the beach, and is very close to the bigger public beach at the Coast Guard Station. The older charm with updated touches on the house make it an overall delightful place to stay at St. Simons Island.

The is a great house the house need some TLC the neighbor must have a landscape business and burned Trash for three days no way to control that. The traffic on the street was near to nothing we enjoyed our stay pool was great!

The vacation house was everything we hoped it would be clean, comfortable, lovely, spacious, kid and pet friendly. The location is great also close to the village, and close to the beach. My family had a great time grilling out and swimming in the pool. No one wanted to leave and everyone requested we go there again. As susch, we will definitly stay there again.

We LOVED this house! Looks are deceiving. It looks tiny from the outside but it comfortably fit our family of 10. We had the best week on the island. The house is literally minutes from everything on the island. The small backyard pool and deck was amazing! We spent every evening out there grilling after coming in from the beach. The neighborhood was perfect for bike rides with the kids and the actual street the house is on was so quiet and peaceful. There were lots of thoughtful touches...games, magazines, sand toys, beach chairs, floats, plenty of bath towels, great internet, the list goes on. Finding the pack n' play in the closet was the best thing ever because we forgot ours and were about to go to Walmart to buy one!!!! Ryan was a great host. Simple check in and he texted a couple times throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back!

We had a great stay at Ryan's house. The house is about a 10 min walk to the beach, near the King & Prince. The pool was nice & warm, great to have on those days it was breezy and drizzling, and we didn't want to take kids & all of our stuff to the beach. There's a beach wagon & some extra beach chairs in the shed which were a nice addition. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, and we were able to cook most meals at the house with just a few purchases. The bunk room was great for all of the kids, and having 2 separate masters with their own pool deck access was nice. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. and we enjoyed nightly walks and that we could walk to the Village area. We only used our case to leave the Island or go to the grocery store, so that was a nice break. Overall a great place to spend spring break for two families traveling together!

Water Lily is a wonderful St Simons cottage, super close to the beach, with everything you need for 1-3 young families with children or just adults. The home is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated as a bright, St Simons Beach Cottage. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of them. With two and a half baths, everyone can get showers or baths quickly. The bunk room is far enough from the living area and the deck for children to sleep and adults to enjoy themselves. Everything is clean and in working order. There is room for beach bag storage in the laundry room, or on the back deck. The deck is large and has a nice table for dining outside by the pool. There are even bikes available if you'd like to ride to the village. The owners have thought of everything! The neighborhood is safe and quiet; wonderful for walking or biking; super close to the village or the beach. The owner was thoughtful, pleasant and quick to respond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

While I can't review the house itself because there was an issue that didn't allow us to stay there the week we booked, I can tell you that the host Ryan went out of his way to take care of us. At his expense he rented another house for us to stay in because this house needed some unforeseen repairs. He made sure the other property he found for us would be ok and checked in throughout the week to make sure we were alright. Sometimes when you're renting knowing the person you're renting from will take care of any issues is more important than the property itself. Ryan exceeded those expectations.

This was a great place for a vacation for our two families. We had 9 adults and 1 baby and it all worked perfectly. There was a shed with great amenities such as bicycles and beach equipment. The air conditioning unit had some difficulties and our host was very gracious in paying for our outing one day while the repairmen came to fix it.

Nice little house. There were 10 of us in all, 6 adults and 4 kids. Close to beaches and to shops and restaurants in town. If you are a group that requires lots of space for people to spread out this might not be the property for you. For us it was fine. Having the pool was great. We used it everyday multiple times. It was very clean. There were plenty of towels and soap and toilet paper etc. but there were only plates and bowls for 8. Property manager was readily available when needed. Would rent again but not with the number of Peter had.

Grandkids loved the pool. We were in a good proximity to the village. Bedrooms were spacious. Bikes and beach accessories were a plus. Deck was in rough shape but a new one was going in the day we left.
