We've designed Watermark as a place you and your family can come together to relax and unwind. Our house is in the perfect location - close to the beach and the center of St. Simons activity - the Village and pier. Come and enjoy our beautiful, heated back yard pool. Enjoy a meal at our outdoor dining table on our large screened back deck overlooking the pool and landscaped back yard. With outdoor seating, outdoor dining, and the pool, you may never go inside! But when you do, the indoors is bright and open, with a large kitchen with stainless appliances, open to the dining and family rooms. The dining room can seat your full family, and the open living room has a 60" flat screen TV with cable and blue ray player. There are high ceilings and lots of natural sunlight throughout. The house has super fast internet (200Mbps speed) including a modern mesh network providing strong fast wifi on all 3 floors, the porch, and pool area - if you need to take a Zoom call or stream a few movies, you'll be more than able. And the house features a Peloton indoor exercise bike for your use.

THE SPACE
Bedrooms:
• You'll be comfortable in the master suite with its king bed and gel foam mattress, private en suite bathroom with his & hers closets, his & hers vanity sinks, separate tub and shower. The master bedroom also has a flat screen TV with HD cable and blue ray player, ceiling fan, and has its own thermostat so you can set your sleeping temperature however you like it. There's a Peloton exercise bike in the master bedroom for your use.
• The second bedroom on the main level also has a king gel foam mattress, ceiling fan, and full bathroom with a shower.
• Upstairs is a large bedroom with queen bed and high end mattress. Within that bedroom is an enclave containing 4 bunks for the kids. This bedroom also has its own digital thermostat and ceiling fan. There is an attached full bathroom with dual vanity sinks and shower.
• Then going downstairs to the first floor you have two more king bedrooms that share a full bathroom, both with smart TVs:
• The "Sunshine" room has a king memory foam mattress, ceiling fan,smart TV, and views of the pool
• The "Gray" room is similarly equipped with memory foam mattress, ceiling fan, smart TV, and pool views.
In addition to the living area already mentioned, there is a separate game room downstairs with foosball and board games - the perfect spot if the kids need to hang out apart from the grownups for a little while!
And if you need some peace and quiet, try the rocking chairs or swing on the front porch - a great spot for morning coffee and reading before a busy day on the beach and in the pool.
You can walk to the village from the house by going Right, through the park (with tennis and basketball courts, playground and Spanish-moss draped live oaks) and then Left, or to the beach by turning Left and then Right. Either is a 7-minute walk.
We have a 2-car garage and plenty of parking for up to 6 vehicles.
If you are looking for a large beach house that has plenty of room for everyone, is upscale but comfortable, and is located in the most convenient spot on the island, Watermark is the perfect choice for your vacation.
We're in a quiet neighborhood and love our neighbors, so this is not the house for late night pool parties or other noisy activities - please plan to honor Glynn County's noise ordinance and keep it down outside after 10.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $200 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Lovely spot to stay on SSI

I stayed here with a large family group (parents, me and my husband and two kids, my sister and her husband and baby). Everyone told me how great the house worked out for our group. Everyone got their own space a bit away from other folks (sister and family downstairs, me and my family on the main floor, my parents upstairs) and there was a lovely huge open living space for us to cook and congregate in, also a lovely screened in porch where we ate dinner each night, and the kids had a blast with the pool. This property is a short walk from the village where you can eat out, visit the lighthouse, go to the miniature golf course & swim park in the summer. There’s also a nearby park with a great playground and tennis courts. We love being able to walk places and leave the car at home.

We booked the property for a week long family trip. Total of 9 people ranging for 70s - almost 2. The house had everything that was needed plus some. Loved the majority of the rooms had king beds! The location could not have been beaten! Couple minute walk to the beach and downtown. Kids and adults loved to be able to jump in the pool to cool down or before dinner.

A large and spacious house. Open living, dining and kitchen area. We enjoyed it all. It is a big space for three couples, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The walk into town is short and pleasant. We enjoyed cooking around the large kitchen island. The kitchen is full of pots and pans to cook whatever you want. We also used the charcoal grill we found in the garage one night, cooked steaks out back. Beds are very comfortable. We didn't use the pool nor the beach, which is just a block away. We would enjoy a return visit when the weather is more cooperative . This is a wonderful house and location on a quiet street.

The lighthouse was the perfect stay for our family of 8! The location was perfect being 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks from town. Everyone felt like they had their own private space with spacious bedrooms and en suites. The common area was large enough for our family to enjoy our time together in the kitchen, dining area, or living room. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances we needed, and we appreciated the option to use the laundry as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the front porch during the evenings! Only thing missing was an option for recycling, otherwise the home was everything we expected.

We loved our stay at Watermark! The house was extremely spacious and comfortable. We especially loved the open floor plan upstairs and the deck and pool area. We paid to get the pool heated and it was well worth it. The beds were also very comfortable. The house was within walking distance of the beach, lighthouse, and village and easy drive anywhere else. Would definitely recommend staying here and we would likely stay here again!

The beach house was everything we wanted for a 4 night getaway. It was huge for 4 adults but gave each couple plenty of privacy as well as nice space to share. Ryan was easy to communicate with & quick to respond to our questions & comments. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy walking distances to downtown & the beach. Our family had a great time at your home. The heated pool was a hit with the whole family. Being so close to the beach and the downtown area was great. We walked the beautiful neighborhood every day. When searching for a summer beach vacation, it was important to my family to be together but for us to all have space to spread out when needed. This home really accommodated those needs! The bunk bed room was perfect for the kiddos downstairs & the rest of the bedrooms were very spacious. We enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen almost every night & playing in the pool during the hot days. It was a short walk to the beach & the main downtown area which was amazing! If you are going to explore St Simons with your family, I definitely recommend this home!

This property is extremely clean and professionally managed. Our large group was able to be both together and separated. The location was perfect - a quick walk to town on a lovely tree shaded boulevard, and less than 5 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed sunrises on the 9th Avenue beach and were entertained by dolphins each morning. The pool area was very private and well maintained. The property manager was very swift to respond to a minor problem. We all agreed we would stay here again. The property and its amenities made our stay easy and enjoyable.

My family and I spent the first week of the new year relaxing in Ryan and Crystal's St. Simons home. There were 10 of us total, including 5 'boys' ranging in age from 17-20, my senior parents (in their 70's), my sister, my husband, and me. Notwithstanding the age range and range of interests, everyone stayed comfy and happy. The home is laid out perfectly, in that it allows for socializing or privacy, whichever suits its inhabitants for the moment. The home is not on the beach, but it is an easy walk. A previous reviewer stated that there are beach views from the front porch which I'm confused about, as there are not, which is completely fine, the home isn't advertised as having beach/ocean views. There is plenty of parking and no neighborhood or neighborly drama. We had a great, relaxing vacation. Thank-you Ryan and Crystal!

We loved staying here. The landscaping out front and in the back add such a happy, beachy feel so that this house is so lovely to come home to. Inside, the living area is really spacious, perfect for relaxing in or playing with the kids, and feels fresh. We occupied the two bedrooms on the main floor and the upstairs bedroom - all were clean, pretty suites with their own bathrooms and privacy. The pool is the perfect size for a group. My daughter loved it, and the porch swing in the front of the house and the backyard. The fact that we can walk to the beach and restaurants AND three different parks made this location really unbeatable. Ryan was super responsive even when I messaged him after 9pm trying to figure out the television - he was very patient with me! I can think of absolutely no draw backs to staying here - it was a wonderful vacation in every way.

Beautiful, spacious, and high end house in a great location. We had a 3-year-old, infant, and a 5 adults and it was perfect. Everyone had their own space. My 3-year-old had a great time swinging on the front porch, swimming in the pool, and at the beach. Everything was extremely clean. We rented the house with 7 adults and 2 kids for Spring Break and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The house is walking distance to the village with lots of little restaurants and also walkable to the beach. The house is beautiful and very spacious and open- looks even better than pictures. My kids loved the upstairs "kids room" with the bunk bed setup. We opted to heat the pool and it was a nice toasty 88 degrees for the kids. Also the owner is so responsive and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend this house to anyone coming to SSI!!

This is a huge space that fit our needs perfectly for our family reunion. Seven adults and five children (two adults couldn't make it) were able to spread out nicely, and we especially enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the pool. My 94 year old Mom was able to sit out there and enjoy the fresh air and watch the kids play in the pool. Adirondack chairs and other chairs were quite uncomfortable though.

Ryan N Crystal's beach house was centrally located near the village and the beach. We easily walked to both! My children thoroughly enjoyed their pool and all the pool toys at their home for our use. I live on Saint Simons Island but was looking for a large place to accommodate my wedding party for the weekend of the wedding. Ryan truly went above and beyond to make sure my group had an awesome stay. This house, host, and St. Simon's really exceeded our expectations. We were an extended family of 12 and spent a week at Watermark. Fantastic location and amenities - very comfortable and easy for our whole group (ranging in age from 1 to 64 years old!). Easy walking distance to several playgrounds, great beaches, and places to eat/drink/shop yet no noise at night from music in the village. The pool was really nice and we spent a lot of time in that in addition to swimming at the beach. House has everything you could want from bikes to toys to comfortable bedding and spacious kitchen. Second dishwasher was really nice for a large group. Everything was just as the listing says, if not better. Owners were extremely easy to work with - very responsive in communications and thorough & prompt about answering even the smallest questions. A wonderful place to stay -- would definitely recommend!

This is a very gorgeous upscale family friendly home. We were a group with toddlers and infants. Our toddlers really enjoyed playing in the open living area and screened porch. We fired up the grill and barbecued. We all played in the pool, walked to the beach and village. The house exceeded the expectations of five different families. Every room was well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. Ryan N Crystal communicate and stay in touch from the beginning to the end and were very accommodating. This house is amazing!!!! We were there for a low-key bachelorette weekend and it was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone and will consider staying there again in the future. It would be great for large families as well! It's a close walk to the beach and to the village. I love going to a place where I barely have to use my car and this is exactly that! Everything exceeded out expectations. We could not be happier on choosing this home. We hadn't left yet while we were already starting to plan out next stay here. Even with is being a little cooler this time of year (we came from weather below zero so this really was perfect) we had a blast in the heated pool and being so close to the little shops down town. The bikes were a plus, I can't remember the last time I road on a bike and I had a hard time staying off them! literally wanted to bike every where every chance I got. Lastly so impressed but your customer service and quick response. Please keep doing what you guys are doing because I can honestly say our experience was stress free!! Thanks again!

We stayed here for a week with our daughters and their significant others (+ one baby). The house is beautiful and the 4 king sized beds were great. The pool is absolutely lovely with lots of floats. The house is a 5 minute walk to the beach where we spent every morning. Due to the Covid-19 issues we could only enjoy a couple of outdoor venues but we did do carry out from The Porch (great Nashville style hot chicken) and Southern Soul BBQ. We also enjoyed the outdoor area of Barrier Brewing for happy hour. Overall the house is exactly as pictured and was extremely clean. We would definately book again!

This home is lovely, spacious, clean and just a short walk to the beach, shopping and dining. Our family of 12 had a great stay here and enjoyed bedrooms that offered king beds. The kids loved having a private pool. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded. We enjoyed lots of natural wildlife in the ocean-including frequent dolphins. Golf carts are available to rent but should be reserved early as they sell out quickly. Ryan (the owner) and Heather (the property mgr) were very responsive and helpful. Overall, a great stay.

This house was perfect for our needs! Our family was hoping to find a place where we could all stay together, and this house was perfect. The screened in porch was so pleasant charming. The kids loved the pool. There were lots of spaces to spread out, but still be together. You could tell there was a lot of thought that went into making this house work for large groups. This place was exactly as advertised. It was close to the beach and also restaurants and shopping. Kids playground are nearby. We had a wonderful week. There are a few items that future renters should be aware of: There is no door between the master bedroom and the toilet. Wifi cuts in and out. And, the dishwashers are old and do not clean very well. I suggest you rinse the dishes thoroughly before putting them in the dishwasher.

Beautiful house that was accurately described including the proximity to the beach, playground, tennis and basketball courts and the downtown area. We had 8 adults and 6 children and had plenty of room and activities for everyone . The host was very friendly and extremely accommodating and very quick with responses throughout the whole process. The previous tenants had turned the pool heater on and caused some issues which were immediately addressed and remedied during our stay . The town of St. Simons was quite charming . This was our first time traveling to St Simon's and let me tell you this house exceeded all expectations! Very cozy with that Southern Charm we were looking for. It is so nicely decorated, clean and in a PERFECT location to the shops, restaurants and beaches. We had a golf cart delivered to the house and rode around town on that all weekend. Highly recommend this home and Ryan was very easy to work with.

We truly enjoyed spending Christmas here! The living space is much larger than it appears in the photos. The kitchen is amazing - the perfect place to prepare Christmas dinner together. The screened in porch was great, as well. The property is centrally located - just as promised!

The most amazing house!! Ryan made the whole process of reserving, checking in and checking out so easy. We would definitely recommend, and return to this house. The living space was large enough to comfortably accommodate the 12 people in our group and still offered private space. The kitchen was well-equipped with appliances, dishes and cookware. Everything, the bathrooms, the beds and all living areas were very clean and comfortable. Awesome location! We were able to walk to all the happening places in the area yet the house is situated in a quiet neighborhood. The perfect place to come home to after a long day of shopping or a night of dancing. Great place, Ryan!

Great time, large house for my large family. We rented the large house for everyone to stay in for my son's wedding that took place at Sea Island. It was a fun time!

Great value for large home close to East Beach and Pier Village on St Simons Island. Plenty of bathrooms, modern kitchen, back yard pool and second floor screened porch overlooking back yard. The property manager was very quick to repair one small problem during our stay.

Our family had a wonderful time at Warermark. Close to the beach and the Village. We all loved the pool. Owners were easy to work with and the house is absolutely beautiful. We are picky about beds - we all slept comfortably without any trouble. We look forward to coming back next year!

My family and I (six of us) went down to St. Simons for 5 nights at this lovely home. From the moment we walked in the door, I could feel all the stress fall off! It is a gorgeous home, decorated with calm colors and beachy themes. The bedrooms and baths are spacious and were a perfect fit for each of us. We loved the great room and kitchen table that seats 8 where we could have easy access to both the kitchen and the TV. The outdoor screen porch was lovely to sit and relax in the Adirondack chairs. We enjoyed both morning coffee and evening drinks out there. We would have had our meals outside on the gorgeous dining table but it was a little chilly that week so we ate indoors. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. St. Simons is a fun place to walk around. You can walk to the village and the pier from there or drive it and park. We spent one day where we walked to the beach, which is only a short distance and enjoyed it so much. It was not crowded or too busy at the time we went between Christmas and New Years. We enjoyed this home so much and look forward to coming back to St. Simons again.

great location, spacious, great fit for our family Overall, everyone in our adult family reunion celebrating our parents' 65th wedding anniversary, thought the accommodations "exceeded expectations". We were very thankful for this place. The great room was activity central. We were able to get 10 chairs (our whole group) around the dining table. While the weather was not right for pool season, we did use it! Most of us walked to the nearest access point to the beach and enjoyed walking it (at less than high tide 🙂 The weather for the weekend was close to perfect. God blessed our family with sweet parents who have been good examples to us, with loving sibling relationships, happy times as a family, and this was the most recent highlight of life "together" - though we live miles apart.
Great Place on Saint Simon's!

This was an amazing house that accommodated our party of 12 most comfortably. The house was exactly as pictured; spacious, clean and well-stocked with appliances and amenities such as shampoo, soaps and such. The check-in check-out was easy, and the location was perfect! It sits in a quiet neighborhood that is within walking distance of all the attractions on the island, including shops, restaurants, the lighthouse museum and the pier. Ryan was responsive in our communications and accommodating. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a spacious, clean and convenient place to stay when visiting St. Simons.
